PFF ranks Taylor #32 starting QB

The list is ridiculously inconsistent! Sometimes is how accomplished the QB is Manning over Luck. My preference is to actually predict who will do the best this year. -

Anybody else see this response to the Bills being ranked 13th by PFF in AFC. Somebody has a bias problem. Jeez! did a band of roving Bills supporters burn his house down as kid or something? "The bills have arguably the worst O-Line in football and Richie Incognito was the only addition made that will help much this year, a somewhat less horrible version of Willie Colon. All this supposed talent they added consists of a Fullback, a Lottery ticket QB, a gadget receiver/returner with a major attitude problem, Incognito was addressed above, Miller may not get a start this year, McCoy look dangerously like Chris Johnson Circa 2011 last year, so really just badly overpaying Clay. And Oh by the way, Ryan is a bad fit. He needs at least 1 shut down corner, preferably 2 the Bills have exactly 0, and can't develop a QB to save his life. Finally Kyle Williams turned 32 back in February, historically defensive tackles fall of at that age, while Mario Williams is coming off his best season as a pro, actually getting involved in Run defense and not disappearing for as much as entire games, things that are generally out of line with his career profile and is more likely to regress to the player he was than remain as the player we saw last year. The Jets added a solid if unspectacular verteran QB in Fitzpatrick, arguably the best corner in Football in Revis, a Number 1 type receiver in Marshall (who's of the field transgressions last year amounted to trying to fill a leadership void and answering a question honestly, if you don't believe me do some actual research, that is what happened at base), a strong second corner in Cromartie, plus some solid secondary pieces, and then had arguably the best draft of any team. So yes there is reason for these rankings." -

Yes there is very little reason to be optimistic about Buffalo-after all its the Bills. No crap. Probably be like -1 and 17 record with EJ. -

I find It amusing that PFF has the Bills at 13th in the AFC out of 15 teams! -

Not a real Bills fan if EJ is more important than the team. -

"In small sample sizes, a good scout is ALWAYS better than stats". These rankings are like a Fantasy draft in that its nice to have a big track record to look at. That is not the case for a some of the projected starters. And, a good many have very mediocre records and perhaps upside. Would you really rather have Hoyer or McCown than Taylor? I doubt it! There are many other examples Peyton ahead of Luck? PFF is just looking at their ratings and taking the easy way out and saying TT has no track record so he's last. The Bills coaches and other NFL coaches, GMs and scouts don't have that luxury. They have decided that they have reason to believe Tyrod can be a good QB. I see it as entirely plausible he could have more potential than half the guys on this list. Of course PFF isn't going to do it, even though I believe they had him 2nd in preseason QB rankings as someone pointed out. -

Are these ratings based on what guys have done or predicting forward? I think we know the answer with Peyton ranked 5th.All we should care about is going forward and who has the most upside. Do Hoyer/Mccown etc. have more potential than T-mobile answer NO! -

The more I see of this site. The more I realize what a scam it is. Setting aside the Taylor thing. Luck is 9th behind you name it Peyton who is 5th LOL, Tannehill/ Bridgewater ahead of Eli/Flacco -

With all the love for Miami, I'll take Washington plus 4.5 at home. Buffalo plus 3 at home of course. -
Matt Cassel re-signed, will be #2 QB

Not unreasonable at all! I can just hear the old dinosaur media types now........I'll spare you the narrative you already have heard it -

Does this portend an EJ trade as imminent? 3 Qbs dressing and Tanney on PS. Hmmm -

I think we should all agree not to read and then link on Pete Pricksore, that way he doesn't get anymore clicks. -

Gosh I hope we can win a game, Pete Prisco says our QB sucks! -
I found this article very illogical! They got rid of Fred is a negative and then replaced him with McCoy? Wah He is a numbers guy and yet the Bills DVOA on FO was 9th last year before improving the coaching staff. Last Place? SRS on Football Ref has the Bills as plus 5 pts last year, before improving the OL as we know they have. Done little to improve it? Aaron Kromer, Greg Roman? Their pythagorean record said they underachieved and should have been 10-6 LAST YEAR! I think the floor is pretty high for the Bills for the simple reason their defense is consensus top shelf. If the offense gives them anything more than last year they could do much better than 10-6. Simple regression tells you that the offense should improve.

2015 Bills vs. Last Year at this time ???
D. L. Hot-Flamethrower replied to CSBill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I agree with most of what the OP says-good job! IMHO the receivers and linebackers will be much improved. I also think we are vastly superior at the QB position and RB. Lastly, the OL is much better as mentioned, everything else i"m fine with the OP.
