  1. Honestly, is the risk as stated by some, really that great by not starting Cassel! If you believe he is mistake free and we cannot lose - I don't see it. Potential is never reached if it is not attempted. Risk cannot be properly assessed without consideration of the reward. IMO

  3. Thanks for sharing. I enjoyed the article. The policy of not stopping practice at every mistake will no doubt ruffle the feathers of old school types. When I was coaching hockey, I utilized much of this philosophy with my teams. It was a whopping success, and the players loved it.
  4. I love this! People talk about the risk of playing TT and I don't get it. Cassel is a backup QB. He is a guy you can win with for a couple weeks when the starter is out at this point in his career.
  5. I like Taylor a lot, and believe he needs to given a chance to start given he continues to play the way he has. I'd put his chances of being a franchise guy at no more than 25%.
  6. He offers upside and that is the most important thing to me. You need big plays to win big in the NFL. Very difficult to move the ball 15 plays and score a TD without making a mistake. Tyrod will produce big plays. Not buying it whatsoever.
  7. Tyrod! Keep all 3. We can win with any of them IMO. Better shape at QB than some realize.
  8. Our QB situation is much better than many believe. I feel confident we can win with any of these guys.
  9. Somebody mentioned 5% chance above for Jameis. If we use that as the prior. Has anything really happened since EJ entered the league that would do anything to raise that number? On the contrary, for many reasons it has been moving towards 0.
  10. Perfectly stated. Especially the last sentence. I am from the same camp. I believe the competition can and should make you better. I remember a couple years ago my golf game had plateaued. My resident gold guru told me I needed to play with some better players and get some competition. Bingo it helped me take the next step. I hope this proves true with our QB competition. Go Bills!
  11. The competition is a great tool to produce improvement amongst the QBs. The fact that all three showed well in the first preseason game is testament to that. I cant help but think back to last preseason and how pathetic the whole thing was. No dog in this fight, I just want the best man to win and ultimately the Bills. I trust this staff to do what is right. Hold on to all 3 QBs! My opinion.
  12. He did not have the best pre season game because the coaching staff doesn't feel that way.! Further, this view is not shared by a great many who watched the game in an unbiased manner. You can say it, but that is your opinion, not fact.
  13. lmfao. EJ looked by far the best last night? Glad people on this board have NO say! The bar is so low for that guy with some of you. Amazing.
  14. Its all about competition with this staff. They are a long way from determining a starting 5. BTW, this was something missing from the Marrone regime. You were either on the inside looking out or the outside looking in. A big problem when you are developing and attempting to improve players. They need to believe they have a chance, and it makes everyone better.
  15. Boring!!! I don't get how people can argue over and over about this subject.
  16. I just heard that Pats schmoozer Chris Mortensen on the radio saying "he isn't sure Brady deserves any games. And, he believes Goodell really wants to give Tom a chance to show him something to make him reduce the suspension." I'm concerned that are going to reduce it to one game and that will be it.
  17. Did not know that. You are correct the lack of guaranteed money means he could be cut in a pinch.
  18. I don't agree with some of this. I don't believe Corbin Bryant will make the team, Gay will not either. Probably Connor and Brooks will sneak in there.
  19. Ill take the under because I don't believe he will get any better. He got worse last offseason, and I know some believe that is all on the coach. However, the entire preseason he looked much worse than he did the previous year. EJ never looked better than the first 4 games his rookie year. The QBs we brought in will be better than he is. IMO
