If the Bills start Cassel, which I do not believe they will. They will have blown it BIG TIME! Wait until they lose to the Colts and have to deal with the media . Cassel puts up a 17 for 28 and 101 yards with no TDs and and 2 picks. Oh and get dont forget getting sacked a few times with no rushing yards.

Its TT for me because he brings the most for the defense to worry about. He has shown that he can throw from the pocket and comes from a strong organization that has clearly been developing him. EJ is a strong number 2 and appears to have made some improvement. I want to see more. These guys offer the upside, Cassel is an emergency guy we can win a couple weeks with if we have too.

I hope they keep all 3 and put Simms on PS. I don't get the mentality that now we have options, let's start trading them to optimize. JMO, we will be happy we kept our options. This position is SO important it is just fine to have some redundancy. IMO

It was done for a reason. Scheduling, rivalry etc. I don't see a need to blow it up because of the reason suggested. Tweaked perhaps. How the hell do you sell a team ranked 22nd or 27th in the standing etc.?

I'm not one to post about this subject very often, but I can't help but think this reminds me of hockey. It's old 1st line , second line etc. and who is starting the game. Just because the players a coach considers his best don't start the game doesnt mean they aren't his best players. It may not be a perfect analogy. But, someone stated earlier, Rex is doing this to stick to his word about it being a competition. It is in everyones best interest who is invested in the Bills to answer all the questions as throughly as possible. Don't get to hung up on the order of appearance, or worrying about how it makes the media look. The media doesn't care! This will all play out and the best QB will win. I am confident in saying this.
