  1. I could tell you a story about Josh's dad being drunk and what he really thinks about Ken Dorsey. But, I won't because that would be in appropriate.
  2. This is the problem, the critics comparing him to Mahomes as if the context was neutral. There aren't any QBs that stand up to that.
  3. No one is above criticism, he stunk week 1, he wasn't great on Sunday. What I can't stand is the people who only understand football through the lens of the QB. What I also find ridiculous is it has to be an either or. There are alot of problems with this team right now. And, trying to fix them requires prioritization. The critics of Allen act like he fixes it and all is well. Not true. That is all.
  4. Nothing on this team is fine. Especially the Defense who was put in a position to win and failed badly against as weak an opponent as they'll see on offense.
  5. McDermott has his finger prints all over this offense right now and was confirmed yesterday by both he and Dorsey. Telling Josh not to bother making that extra key first down 2-3x a game is killing this offense. Just keep working with him to slide and get OB. Don't try to make him Troy Aikman.
  6. I don't know, thought of that, but no reason to believe they didn't. I'd be fine with that too. Sometimes the best way to deal with a defensive weakness is to prop up the offense. Trade for one of these guys, use more 3wides, insert Morris as blocking TE in 12 form and continue developing Kincaid. Oh and allow Josh to scramble and slide for an additional 2-3 key FDs every game.
  7. Adam Thielen, despite being 33, would help this team, Offense and Allen right now. In 3 wide with Diggs and Davis as #3 and Thielen filling Beasley role we could focus on Defense.
  8. I think the 2 biggest issues related to this plan are (which I would love much of it): 1. The narrative will end up being, and there's nothing that can be done about it, about the injuries on the defensive side of the ball. 2. To which McBeane will gladly play up and get rid of Dorsey at seasons end as the scape goat. IMO McDermott has his hands all over this offense right now, and from listening to Dorsey I know I'm right. I mean does anybody else think we miss those 2-3 First Downs Josh used to scramble for each game like Mahomes does? Instead of telling him not to run they should have continued working on him sliding and getting out of bounds. People wonder why he looks miserable, it's because he's being asked to not be himself. And, furthermore IMO McD is way to quick to bash the offense after games and lessen the accountability of his defense. That is all.
  9. Maybe we should trade Josh to Chicago for the first 2 picks and Justin Fields -problem solved offense will sizzle
  10. No excuse just presenting the analytics. Could it be the O has been better than you think if whole game is taken into account?
  11. They need to ,the defense has been miserable since the injuries, and had a questionable game plan against Jones yesterday.
  12. McD has the injury excuse, but quite frankly his defense is performing poorly by all the defensive measures in the last 3 weeks since the injuries. Draft choices sucking is also a major contributor to the lack of depth, not to mention one awful game plan yesterday against Jones.
  13. I just find it interesting that a data report of EPA for NFL offenses the last 3 weeks has Bills 2nd behind KC. Meanwhile, The Milanoless, Treless, Daquonless D ranks at or near the bottom in everything. Food for thought huh
  14. And there is this. https://x.com/LordReebs/status/1716519121246937242?s=20
  15. I have a couple questions to the Josh being the problem people. Do you think we will ever win a Super Bowl with McDermott as the coach? Do you think you could win a Super Bowl with Josh Allen at QB?
  16. Can't believe McD responded in press conference by saying he wish he knew! Are you kidding me? This is the leader! I don't
  17. When you score two Tds and have a three point lead with 1 1/2 minutes left that is what matters at that point. Nothing before that matters until you watch the film and find out what you need to correct. So having said that McDermott and his D should be able to at least hold the worst offense and QB to no more than a FG. Colossal failure again at crunch by a coaching staff that has been losing the teams players since 13 seconds.
  18. To your last point, I sometimes wonder if much like teams can overboard with the "win now" mentality. Beane and McDermott have gone overboard with the "sustainability" mentality. The Carolina mentality of always good, never good enough or great. I don't really believe they've ever been all in, because much like Carolina, they've never valued the second WR position high enough for my tastes.
  19. An awful lot of needs, and awful lot of high paid older guys. I think Priorities will be dictated by who's available. Many of you have great thoughts, but again who can we get?
  20. The reality is the Bills are 4-3, could easily be 3-4, and have played one of the weakest schedules in the league.
  21. People stew over the cap way too much. Months away and there are plenty of strategies for dealing with it when its is the time.
  22. It has been for a long, long time. Too many highly technical rules open to interpretation and the increase usage of instant replay have done just the opposite of improving the officiating.
  23. I'll tell what could be worse. This offense without #17 for an extended period.
  24. McDermott doesn't allow for enough accountability to his defense, and that's week in and week out. He's always happy to talk about the offensive failures and his code word "complimentary football"-translation the offense is leaving my defense in bad situations. I wish he just step up and take accountability and say.....28-25, offense made a nice comeback and gave us the lead, we should be able to step up on defense and get the job done. My god at least you could hold them to only a FG. I think he's losing this team more and more since 13 secs. The culture seems weak due to lack of accountability everywhere. It would help if the head coach stepped up and regular said I need to be better, we need to do a better job as a coaching staff.
  25. Who said that strawman, not me. You said the coach doesn't matter
