  1. I think Ben Johnson has real upside as a coach. Vrabel is a good coach, maybe better than McDermott. Having Beane in the equation also creates a cloud because he has the Carolina priorities woven into his team building. Basically, if he's here I think he would hold back both the above guys as well!
  2. also an indictment of the system that it seems to take forever to break a guy in. We hear it all the time.
  3. Thats great! Ranks up there with Robert Shaw in the poker scene from The Sting " what was I supposed to do call him out for cheatin' better than me?"
  4. Worth a watch!I view it much differently after watching. Beane and Brady have really screwed the pooch!!!
  5. There will be changes this offseason, not buying the argument some make that we're going to run it back because of the new stadium.
  6. The biggest hole on this team is at WR. Last year the NFL hadn't figure out had bad we were at the position. The negative impacts are: Josh is holding the ball too long sometimes and forcing things to make a play. We never chip with a back a great edge rusher like Anderson because we need people out on routes. The OL has to hold up. The running game would be even better if we didn't have to run into 8-9 man boxes. The defense needs to play with a lead. That's the script. We are devoid of talent and can't stop the run unless teams have to play catch up against us. We have to be perfect most games. The games we lost think NE, Atl, Mia, Hou 20 pts, 14 pts, 13 garbage pts, 19 pts and at least 3 TOs in all those games. Far from perfect.
  7. He could get rid of Beane and I'd take that for now. I don't want him making anymore personnel decisions for my team. Championship Roster? on more than one occasion he's believed that. The coaching staff is canoeing upstream right now.
  8. I know a guy who said this was a championship roster only a couple weeks ago. That in and of itself is a problem. If someone can look at this roster and say that in his judgement -good enough. The sad thing is just bringing in a better WR would have had a domino effect on this team. There's still holes, but it would make a difference to an offense that is folding.Fire Beane
  9. Beane and its not close. This team is short on talent around Allen .Oh sorry! The WR position needs to be fixed big time and we will never know what could have been had Beane just got it right one time.
  10. I stand by what I've been saying. Beane has totally screwed the pooch (WR anyone) and needs to be shown the door. His lack of ability to bring in front line guys beyond Josh has hamstrung what the coaches can do. Missing the playoffs is probably what it'll take to get it done. I also think McDermott and Beane parted ways awhile ago on what this team needed.
  11. The personnel is the problem and who's responsibilty is that?
  12. I'd never thought of that but you could correct
  13. If only Beane had drafted and signed better players
  14. The lack of talent is mind boggling!!!!
  15. I keep hearing it's the injuries. bull####!!!!
  16. People laugh at me when I say Beane is not untouchable
  17. You're correct and some on are here acting like so and so being active/inactive is vital to national security and it's mindboggling. This site is for fun, info and discussion. Nothing more , nothing less. If it looks like a reasonable source then go with your info!
  18. It is not impossible Beane is out at season's end. Mark my words. There are plenty of things to hold him accountable for and he's the easier replacement rather than McDermott.
  19. I told my wife a long time ago that I don't ask for much (and I don't), but i really only ask that I be able to watch the Bills games when they're on. I have missed them for major things and don't regret it. But, if its something that means alot to you I think she should understand. My wife has been great about it, she even plans around the Bills schedule each fall.
  20. I don't think its impossible and I'm not as big a proponent of we need the number 1 seed as some are. Look at it this way, if you're one of the division champs like Indy, Denver, or North teams do you really want to see Josh Allen coming to town? After that it gets back to matchups, upsets, injuries etc and see who we're matchup with. We could end up with the AFCG back to Highmark after that all shakes out. They have as good a chance as anyone from the AFC.
  21. I'm not surprised at all. He sat out due to his own creation and others got a chance and stepped up. They put up 44 freakin points and we had space we hadn't seen all season in the passing game. Coleman was overdrafted that's for sure and not his fault, but at this point he has not done enough to have a hammerlock on a position.
