Wide Receiver Train Full Speed Ahead- CHOO CHOO!
D. L. Hot-Flamethrower replied to Pete's topic in The Stadium Wall
I take Shaheed in a heartbeat. Helps on returns as well. Now if Beane can somehow make it happen and not decide we need to save the pick so he can screw it up in the spring. -
Mahomes is killing teams this year with his legs. We need keep in the pocket and get him on the ground with a spy. Otherwise, not worried about the KC running game. I worry about our offense, they'll have McDuffie on Shakir and our outside receivers are a negative mismatch. Need big,big TE and RB days. Josh needs to play a lot better and someone else to step up. Running with Cook alone won't be enough and we better be ready with a plan to handle the blitz.

Well we know the Chiefs DL will hold our OL from getting to the second level. And, we know their OT will false start every play. And, we know their grabby DBs will start out holding our WRs at the line. And, we know Mahomes will get away with grounding and Allen won't...........Need I say more. Intangibles goes to the Chefs

Hate to say this … but the Pats are effing good
D. L. Hot-Flamethrower replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall
I don't think NE is as good as we are overall. They've improved and our on a high right now. But, the fact they get the following schedule adv LV,TEN,NYG and we get KC,HOU,PHI make it very hard for us to win the division baring complete collapse. NE could end up as phoney division champ-it happens sometimes. -
I wonder what he could do fi the defense feared the outside receivers. It seemed to my eye yesterday like their secondary was "playing downhill".

Mike Lombardi's football cred called into question
D. L. Hot-Flamethrower replied to stuvian's topic in The Stadium Wall
Lombardi always sounded to me like his own biggest fan. Ironically, people who act like they invented something, like the game; Or their resume is unique end up getting caught eventually. People find out they can't do what they said and credibility gets shot. Yes it can get you in the door but not as much as people might think. I know I was fooled one time as a person leading hiring decisions. Never again though. If its too good to be true it likely is. -
Max Hairston to return to practice from IR
D. L. Hot-Flamethrower replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
It's not that desperate. Teams play rookies in the secondary all the time and they succeed. If you're someone that values athleticism it's not all that bad in the secondary. What's surprising is McD actually trying it. -
Yes a platoon could be in order in regard to Poyer/Hancock at some point soon.

It was a horrible, horrible pick by Beane, McConkey or Worthy should've been the pick not Keon. The data i've seen said it at the time. We've all tried to rationalize it since hoping Coleman turns out better than we thought and Beane knew. This is why if the Bills are going to use a pick for WR next year I'd rather they trade it now for a proven performer. Beane and his crew have shown no aptitude for drafting a WR. And, if they're listening to Josh, they need to act like the adult in the room.

My view on the Bills Defensive Problems
D. L. Hot-Flamethrower replied to Cheektavegas Charlie's topic in The Stadium Wall
Those are the most important games, that's what it's all about. -
Interesting, I had no idea as I've not been to a game in a few years. The new stadium will be my next trip to a game.

I have playing in my mind lately whether Keon Coleman could be part of a trade and what he'd bring back. Much the way you car depreciates when you drive it off the lot I think our former #33 pick brings back much less than his investment. I'd trade him and a draft pick for one of Olave, Jeudy, Shaheen, Ridley etc.

The Miami Dolphins are falling apart

Jamarcus Russell and Ryan Leaf incoming -
I kind of took his plan as yes it is common sense. Yet, we've gotten away from it somehow and are forcing some of the draft picks to play roles that aren't working. It is more of a plan for a team that could still win it's division and make the playoffs, but stop being stubborn and acting like you're so good you are always right. Like forcing Coleman and Rapp. And, Shaq Thompson is our best LB. Some of the Bills strategies reek of stubborness and arrogance.
