538's Current Projections (Bills finish at 11-5)
thronethinker replied to DCOrange's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I whole heartedly agree with your last sentence. Super Bowl winners start to peak in December and roll into the playoffs. Many times those teams struggled early in the year and even had games that they lost bad. The fact that the Bills have won 5 games while struggling can in fact be this type of situation. The Offense can get better. Special teams has already improved. We will see if they start to put together complete games in convincing fashion in December. All it takes is a chance. There is no one team in the league that is just that much better this year. The Pats have Offense issues and they will lose some games soon. -
James Lofton Calls Out Knox on Drop
thronethinker replied to Gugny's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yes exactly. He immediately got up to see where the ball was and 2-3 seconds go by before he does any celebration. Fitz had covered the ball back up quickly. The ball was in a place that Phillips could not see it and he had rolled too far away to cover it up. The celebration as well was not some dance “look at me thing” either. He was pumping his hands up and down to get the crown even more energized. -
SNF: Eagles at Cowboys (-3) 8:20 NBC

I’m asking you if that’s what you think will happen. -

And the Eagles weren’t desperate to beat the Cowboys tonight. They gonna suddenly step up their game to beat a non division non conference team in a game that has nowhere near the playoff implications for them? -
We're on to Philadelphia....

Wentz is 9-15 on the road. Eagles are beat up. This game looks much more winnable than it did 4 weeks ago. -
But the D in fact did its job and stopped Miami from blowing the game wide open. I will say that Milano was missed out there especially against the run. How can you defend against a QB who is letting it rip within 2 seconds of the snap. Fitz did what he does and it propelled Miami to the near upset. You think there was some secret D play that would have stopped those passes?

It is his right shoulder.

Allen 2 pt conversion celebration throw - how far?
thronethinker replied to dtgolder's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He was close to hitting Tasker and Ritcher on the bomb. -
Eagles are beat up. Tonight’s game will likely be physical too. They will be coming in to Buffalo with several players injured.

I did not see him at all. Was he on field at any point? Make any blocks? Anything?

TNF: KC @ Denver 8:20 ET on Fox and NFLN
thronethinker replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That right leg was looking a little awkward while he was laying there. -
This whole scenario is likely not even possible. They Very likely playoff seeding will have Buffalo as 5th seed and NE 1st. KC probably 2nd seed. For Buffalo to get through the Wildcard they would have to beat the 4th Seed, toss up between West and South right now. That would make Buffalo the lowest ranking seed to make the second round unless the 6th seed pulls off an upset and wins too. NE by default plays the lowest remaining seed in round 2, which if my scenario plays out would be Buffalo. So AFC Championship would not include Bills and Patriots, Divisional round is much more likely at this point. Even if Buffalo Finished 1st and NE 5th.

Orlando backers: Kitty’s or Hairy’s?
thronethinker replied to oldmanfan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I will agree that the last time I had wings at Harry B they were not that good. Nothing worse than soft/chewy buffalo wings. They need to be hot and crisp. -
I decided to start a separate thread after commenting on Gronk being hired for analysis... Does anyone even watch the Pre Game, Halftime, or Post Game analysts? I may have the TV on but its usually on mute. I cannot stand to watch that crap anymore as Its all just fluff and puff pieces that usually focus on a set few teams. I can get better stuff on youtube watching drunken fans making fools of themselves crying about their teams QB or coaches.

You are correct and the picture quality is stunning. I do however watch all Sunday games on Apple TV 4K through Sunday ticket and though they are not the quality of the Thursday nighters, it is noticeably better than broadcast as the Apple TV 4K up-scales the picture to 4k HDR on my TV. -
