  1. I was at the 1990 game against the Dolphins. My first game ever attended. I was 12 years old. That whole week leading up to the game was full of tension. Miami clobbered Buffalo the first game, Kelly was out injured, the weather held out just long enough for the game, etc. The whole field was surrounded with security at the end of the game, but it wasn’t enough to keep the fans off the field.
  2. You live here long enough and you know what has to be done. You get prepared ahead of time and things will work out. I’m just pissed I may miss the opener if I have to work recovery at my job. Oh well, life goes on.
  3. There is more ways to make a living in football than just playing in the NFL. So they don’t make the team, they have made great contacts. Players can move on to coaching, training, etc..They can work their way up through the ranks on the sidelines. Or they can move onto something else. Finish college, who knows.
  4. That stadium would cost double to build in NY state. Just sayin.
  5. I think the biggest issue with the NFL is there are too many game stoppages. The games need to pick up the pace and quit with so much dead time.
  6. It includes all local channels as the base streaming package, Then you pick which additional you want. And yes, there is now an option for cloud DVR using Apple TV. It was just added. Like I said, they don’t advertise it, you have to ask. Believe me, I know. I posted this in the other thread too... Just renewed this year for the Directv stream. My buddy has a wife in college and I was able to use her college email for the Student rate of $99 for the whole season. This is the 3rd year in a row that I have been able to do this. If you have a family member or good friend in college use their info to get qualified. you don’t have to use their info for the account, just to get qualified. Once you are qualified you use your own email and payment info. Each year you must re-qualify. So for $99 I can stream on Apple TV 4K, or an XBOX, my computer, my phone, my iPad, or any other device that can download the app or connect too the website. You can only use one device at a time. This is by far the best way I have watched games aside from being there. Watching in 4K is just outstanding, better than the TV broadcast. And I am not a directv or att customer. I work for Spectrum and get free cable and internet. I live in FL so its either a stream or Bar and the bars are too dam expensive now.

  8. Nothing is stopping them, they already offer it. You have to call and ask about it. You can stream Spectrum TV app through Roku, Samsung, Fire Stick, Apple TV, XBOX One, etc..No cable boxes required.
  9. I work for a major Cable Company and honestly they can't wait to move on from TV broadcasting. HSD is the bread and butter now. Everyone cuts the cable just to get faster HSD which costs the company pennies compared to Broadcasting.
  10. And if you consider land based mountains from peak to base Denali in Alaska is the tallest in the world. So the tallest marine based and land based mountains in the world are both in the United States. If you put Everest next to either in a strictly size comparison it is dwarfed.
  11. So all that Chicago gave up for Mack and the Bears still couldn't stop Philly when it mattered most.Blame the kicker but the D buckled on the scoring drive.
  12. Detroit is relatively easy drive from Buffalo, if you cut through Ontario that is. It’s closer than most would think, and it is a shorter drive than any team in our division. I think the only teams closer to Buffalo are the Steelers and Browns. So this would partially explain the good turn out. I am sure they get plenty of people crossing the border on game day.
  13. Christ..... Fouts should be a Green Bay announcer.
  14. And throws a pic on the last drive of regulation when all they needed was a FG to win.
  15. I’m watching it on Apple TV 4K and it is being displayed in 4K. I have the student package.
  16. So we are very close to having no first round pics from the last 3 drafts on the field.
  17. Is it just me, or were the refs were holding onto the flags a lot tighter than at any point last season. I don't recall many pass interference calls, were last season you could cough on a receiver and catch a penalty.
  18. Winner, winner, chicken dinner
  19. The Citrus Bowl is not an NFL stadium and could never support a team. I think they are eyeing the Pro Bowl.
  20. I always find it so ironic that Hollywood is allowed to profit off of the tragedies of war, the injustices of the past, our current social issues, and insert any further topic. Yet, for any of us, we are ridiculed and criticized for even using an unpopular opinion. So congrats Hollywood for profiting on the struggles of former NFL players.
  21. Watching this whole thing, I was just stuck in a place that had no positive light. I was dragged back to the years I was in high school and was ridiculed for backing the Bills. Funny thing is I lived in Florida and none of the dirt bags here ever remembered Kelly in Miami.
  22. I watched this and just don't know how to feel. Honestly I really feel mad more now than anything. At that time I allowed my life to be dictated by the Bills. The feeling after a win was so great, a real rush, but when they lost SB 25 I was devastated. How could they lose that game? I now say they lost instead of we. I now realize that I had no control over that or any other game, and none of us did. That is why I always now question when someone refers to a team as us or we. We had nothing to do with the win or loss, all we did was spend money on it. But what I would give to go back and tell them, just run the hell outta it and win. Man, I really feel bad for Norwood. There is no doubt he is still affected greatly by that play. He was in tears there sitting on the steps recalling the play and his last days in Buffalo.
  23. Really? Because I have devoted every Sunday after Labor Day in 1990 to the Buffalo Bills. Believe me, I have taken my licks at home and work supporting this team over the years.
