Ready to see James Cook in this offense...... A great pass catching back and I love drafting guys with siblings in the league, especially when they play the same position. They will strive to outdo each other. -

Wouldn't mind trading down again. Get some extra ammo to move up in the 3rd or even back into the 4th if they want to. -

Traded back..... Like it. -
Finally have 2 gifted CBs that we can leave on an island and still mix in a bunch of zone as well. This will help not only on the back end, but it helps gibe our pass rush that extra tick to get home. With Dane Jackson, we have quality depth as well. Another insane athlete added by the front office as well. They love guys that are elite athletes and I think it really pays off. Good night for us. Still a lot of talent on the board as well. Might be able to move up a bit if we want tomorrow to get a guy we want. The trade compensation has been all over the board tonight. Some trades have been cheap. Some not so much. May be a bit easier to move around in the 2nd or 3rd if we want.

NFL Draft Diamonds @DraftDiamonds · 15s Bills trade up

The Chiefs jumped us...... Ready to trade back if we can. Ari Meirov @MySportsUpdate · 25s The #Chiefs will select Washington CB Trent McDuffie with the No. 21 overall pick. The knock on McDuffie is his size and length, but he has the kind of production that warrants overlooking those concerns.

Ari Meirov @MySportsUpdate · 10s Another trade: #Patriots are sliding out of No. 21 and the #Chiefs are on the clock.

This is shaping up to be a prime trade down scenario for us. I say if McDuffie is gone by the time we pick, we should trade down to get an extra 2. There will be good players in the 2nd round and to get a couple of them would be real nice.

UPDATE: CASE DISMISSED TMZ is just all over us lately! This one isn't for the right reasons, though. TMZ @TMZ Von Miller is being sued by a woman in L.A. who claims the NFL star, consumed by jealousy, sent sexually explicit photos to "two celebrities" and allegedly asked, "this the B word you want?" Full Story "Von Miller is being sued by a woman in Los Angeles who claims the NFL star, consumed by rage and jealousy, distributed a sexually explicit photo of her to "two well-known celebrities" in May 2020, TMZ Sports has learned." Doesn't sound like much will come of it. Seems like a really bad breakup. Not a great look, though.

Thanks...... I'm sure the video is great and the song hits hard. But I just can't do it. I lived through it all already. There are moments over the past 40 years of my fandom that are still crystal clear in my mind and, unfortunately, many of them are painful memories. If we ever win the whole thing, I may check it out then, but I don't need to relive these moments now.

Tyreek seeking a trade [Now: Traded to the Dolphins]
sven233 replied to Dablitzkrieg's topic in The Stadium Wall
Can't wait for the first time Hill is wide open 65 yards down the field and Tua underthrows him by 10 yards. HA! What's not as funny is that this is maybe what will have to happen to Diggs next year. I like Diggs a lot, but I am not paying him 28-30 million a season. There is a reason Beane hasn't been in a hurry to negotiate an extension with Diggs yet. The money for WRs is getting stupid, and as far as I am concerned, that is why we need to take a couple WRs real early in this draft. As far as I am concerned, there are plenty of extremely talented WRs that are coming out year after year now. Will there be a drop off from Diggs? Of course, but the value you will save would mean a lot. Time to start planning ahead and find some cost controlled explosive talent early in the draft, not only this year, but drafts to come. -
Chandler Jones signing with Raiders - 3 years, $52.5 mill
sven233 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
Much rather try and swing a trade for Hunter. Better player and a lot younger. Sure, he's going to get PAID, but if we can get him here on his current deal, we can work on an extension and fit the money in where we'll have it down the road a bit. That said, I'm not sure Beane and the rest of the front office want to have another huge contract on the books, especially when they like their rotation as much as they do. -
Ford is stiff, slow, and doesn't move well at all. He is constantly exposed by quickness and, unfortunately, he is just not a good enough athlete to keep up. So, he can be taught all the techniques in the world, but slow feet and reaction time will always hold him back. Never liked the pick in the first place and he's never shown anything to any of us to get some hope at all.

The better team won tonight. The best team didn't win the Super Bowl. No doubt in my mind that if our coaching staff pulled their collective heads out of their butts in that last 13 seconds in KC, that we would have won the entire thing. Nobody can convince me that we aren't better than both the teams that played tonight. Our coaching staff blew it and robbed the players, the organization, the city, and the entire fan base the opportunity to watch Josh Allen put on an absolute show and hoist that Lombardi tonight.

The rule stinks. Always has. But last night had nothing to do with the OT and the coin toss. It was about everything that happened in regulation with 13 seconds left. Coaches blew the game. PERIOD.

I don't know...... I was sad after the loss last year. It's different for me this year. I'm not sad. I'm pissed off. Any common sense at the end of that game last night and we're getting ready for the Bengals here for a chance to go to the Super Bowl. But the coaches did EVERYTHING wrong after our go-ahead TD and if they would have done just 1 thing right, everything is different today. So yeah.....I'm not sad this year. I am very mad and angry.

We've needed speed for a while now. Once Brown lost a step, we had nobody left that would strike fear into the defense when catching the ball. Davis is a nice player and Diggs is great, but neither one of those guys are taking a slant to the house. We have nice weapons that can win games, but we need more team speed on offense. We need at least one guy on offense that is a threat to house it on any play. All that said, we missed Tre dearly tonight. Our secondary got exposed tonight in their biggest test since he went down. No doubt in my mind we win this game if he is playing, but it just shows we need another top CB on this team to complete this defense. The needs we all thought we had weeks ago are still the same. CB, WR (combo speed and size guy), G, and speed off the edge. Hughes and Addison are done. They were our vets and they may have been the worst ends we had tonight getting faked out continually by Mahomes when they shouldn't have been. For the amount of money they were making, they can head out and we can try and upgrade off the edge. Still think there Rousseau is going to be a player. He flashed this season and now with a full season under his belt, and now a full offseason to train and add to his gigantic frame, I think he will be much better and more consistent next year. But we need a guy opposite him that can get to the QB. The challenge is finding that guy with the financial issues we will have with Allen's contract set to kick in soon and some of the option guys we will be giving raises to like Oliver and Edmunds. Oh......one more thing...... GET A REAL PUNTER IN HERE!!!

There are so many ways to kill 13 seconds. This is one of them. Holding is another. Straight up defense instead of the prevent crap they put out there. So many ways to get the job done and our coaching staff was clueless and did the worst possible thing they could.

Serious Question - Why Not Hold or Tackle WRs/TEs Every Play

Exactly what I am saying we should have done. A little bush league, maybe, but we would be playing next week. -
Serious Question - Why Not Hold or Tackle WRs/TEs Every Play
sven233 replied to sven233's topic in The Stadium Wall
Because of how we lined up. What I am talking about doing is getting up in their face, immediately grabbing them and hauling them to the ground at the snap. Don't let them have a chance to run anywhere. -
Look, there are so many things that could have been done differently to finish that game. The Bills came out in some sort of crappy prevent defense for some reason and were basically begging to get beat. If it's me, I am doing the exact opposite. First, I am squibbing that kickoff and taking at least 3-4 seconds off that clock. But forget all that...... Say you want to kick it deep and try to get through the next 13 seconds. Fine! You only have to kill off 13 seconds. So, line up tight, grab, hold, tackle every eligible receiver or whatever you have to do every snap and take the penalty! It's 5 yards a pop! If you do that 3 times, the clock is going to tick down until there is only 1 play left and they won't be anywhere near FG range. Defend 1 play and you're there. So many ways to kill 13 seconds and we did none of them. Makes me sick. So pissed off right now.
-
Everyone knows you squib kicked there except the coaches. Coaching lost us the game last year and they did it this year as well. You don't even have to know much about football to know that the squib is the only option there. Embarrassing on every level.
