NY Giants @ Buffalo Bills - SNF 1st half game thread
sven233 replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
They won't do it, but I would have Brady, or anyone else capable, call plays in the 2nd half. Dorsey ain't it. Everyone can see what is working and what isn't working except for him. The Giants are awful and we can still put up 30 in this game with how bad they are, but our offensive coordinator insists on putting our offense in the exact spots the defense wants them to be. -

Under cent play action......... works as it does 90% of the time. Right back to shotgun......... pick. Dorsey needs to check into a mental hospital. -

Ugh..... I hope he's OK. Didn't look like he was moving much if at all. This shotgun offense needs to be shot to the moon.... -

This play calling is seriously getting on my nerves. It's like we see what works and we do the exact opposite. -

Wow.....2 monster runs from under center..... And what happened? Now watch Dorsey go straight to shotgun for the rest of the drive. -

Dorsey and his freaking obsession with the shotgun is going to be the death of me...... He is holding this offense back and I don't understand why when it is so obvious what works best. -

Done with this shotgun crap until further notice.... I want all offensive plays run from under center. The stats don't lie, especially after this much of a sample size. We run the ball better from under center and we pass the ball best out of play action from under center. Forget about the shotgun for now and focus on what we do well. -

Allen with under center play action is nearly unstoppable. Dorsey needs to keep Allen under center at least half the time. -

What I wouldn't give for a sequence on both sides of the ball that doesn't involve us getting in our own way. -

Alaina Getzenberg @agetzenberg With the Bills first-team defense in warmups: LB Dorian Williams CB Kaiir Elam (opposite Christian Benford) I will say this about Elam's game last week...... It wasn't as bad as everyone thought it was watching live. It wasn't good, but it wasn't the completely brutal game it appeared to be. He was put in a tough spot with a tough match up after not playing competitive football in 6 weeks. So, here's hoping he learned from the game, got acclimated to playing again, and can turn things around real quick. With all of our injuries, it sure would be nice to have a #1 pick that can actually play CB fill in. -

Bills inactives vs. Giants: CB Dane Jackson (foot) TE Dalton Kincaid (concussion) LB A.J. Klein S Damar Hamlin OL Alec Anderson OL Germain Ifedi Frustrated Kincaid didn't clear protocol. Thought he might have been in line for a break out game. -
Yup. Had it a couple times myself. One of my most painful injuries. There are special braces you can wear to keep your foot stretched out so it can try and heal, but rest is about the only thing you can do to really help it. I am sure professional athletes have more treatment options than us average joes, but it is not an injury that just goes away overnight.

Yes.....Daboll knows Josh and what he likes and doesn't like. That will help the Giants. But we also pretty much have Daboll's entire playbook, so that will help McDermott. In the end, I am not sure how much of it will matter. While I expect a closer than desired game for a variety of reasons, I just hope the fact that we have Allen and they don't will be enough to tip the scales in our favor. We have more talent and, hopefully, that shows and we win the game.

Saw the tweet.....laughed out loud because I thought it was a joke. Found out it wasn't a joke. Laughed even harder. 436 year old Josh Norman is the best we can do right now? There's literally no better options on a practice squad or something in the NFL than someone who's been sitting on the couch for who knows how long? There's nobody you could trade a pick for that could be worthy of a roster spot? I find it hard to believe. Might as well call Ted Washington to replace Jones while you're at it. Oh well.....whatever. I will say he played admirably with us a few years ago. He wasn't real good, but I could tell he cared. It's just unfortunate he will always be synonymous with getting thrown into the 3rd row by Henry. But hey....if he still wants to try and compete, more power to him.

Because we're never a team that needs depth since our starters stay healthy all the time.......sure, why not? /s
