  1. What an effort......
  2. GROOT is gonna get PAID
  3. Whelp..... The defense hasn't come up with a stop yet. Refs have definitely been a contributor to that, but they need to find a way.
  4. Part 2 of the double dip....... CHECK New ball game......
  5. HALFTIME: Cardinals 17 #Bills 10 Josh Allen: 5/5 for 76 yards + RUSH TD James Cook: 8 carries for 49 yards Dawson Knox: 1 catch for 23 yards Kyler Murray: 16/19 for 131 yards + TD, 28 rush yards James Conner: 9 carries for 18 yards + 3 catches for 33 yards Allen's numbers look like it should be a drive......not an entire half of football.

  7. 5 passing attempts in an entire half will do that......
  8. Well, part 1 of the double dip is complete..... Gotta finish part 2 with another TD after the break.
  9. We have like 5 passing attempts. Hard to get targets when we aren't throwing the ball that much.
  10. This defense is not good. They are getting pushed off the line, there is no pass rush, they are losing contain, and the safeties have not been good. All the stuff we feared could happen to make the defense worse, to this point, has happened. Obviously, the refs have been terrible which hasn't helped either. On offense, it's been a mixed bag. Cook has looked great. The line is blocking well. We have moved the ball, but self inflicted wounds have taken a bunch of points off the board. Allen should have gotten rid of the ball on the fumble, but he should also have a TD on the board. But, quite honestly, it seems like we haven't had the ball long enough to really make too many determinations about how things are going. There's plenty of football left to turn this around, but man, we need to start doing that now.
  11. The wait is finally over...... GO BILLS!
  12. I get the sentiment for sure. There does seem to be a lot of negativity floating around out there about this team. And, quite honestly, I completely understand it. For the first time in several years, I, or nobody else for that matter, really knows what to expect from this team. For the last 3-4 years, we were absolutely good enough to win the Super Bowl. We all knew it going into the season. The talent was here, but due to devastating injuries at the wrong time, terrible coaching meltdowns in crucial situations, and just some flat out bad luck, it hasn't happened. But we were absolutely good enough to win the thing, maybe even multiple times. You could make the argument that we were 13 seconds, and 1 bad Dawkins block away from perhaps us beng 2 time Super Bowl champs and us being considered the standard of the league. But that's just not the way it went. But getting back to this season, I can easily make an argument that we are still Super Bowl contenders......maybe just as good if not even better than the last few years if just a few things go right. But I can also, just as easily, make an argument that we will miss the Playoffs completely. There are so many unknowns and depending on how they shake out, they will go a long way in determining how this season turns out, not even factoring in injuries that could happen this season. I think this is a season that could go in a multitude of directions. I mean, as long as 17 is healthy, it's hard to believe that we won't be at least competitive regardless of all the other questions. However, if this WR room fails like many think it will, if the safety play is as bad as it possibly could be like some think, if Dorian Williams isn't up to the task at LB, if Brady's scheme doesn't create the mismatches we are needing to exploit, if Von truly is shot and Groot and AJ fail to take the next step in their careers, then this season can indeed go south in a hurry. It absolutely can. BUT, if this WR room truly comes together in this "everyone eats" mentality and they make up for, or even exceed, the production of Diggs and Davis as a whole, if the safeties actually turn out to be an upgrade due to being younger and more athletic and Hyde and Poyer were truly shot last season, if Dorian Williams has a TB like explosion in his second season, if Brady's scheme is everything we hope it is with motion, eye candy, and the ability to scheme guys open and Allen can get it to these players in space does happen, and if Von gets back to where he was a couple years ago with either Groot or AJ taking a huge step forward in their careers, then this team will be able to beat anyone and this season could truly be the one that we raise that Lombardi Trophy. Like I said, it's easy to make cases for what direction this team may head in. So, what do I think will happen? My season prediction is this....... I think it we be a very up and down first half of the season. I think you will see glimpses of greatness, but I also think there is a chance we lose games we shouldn't be losing and we will be showing a lot of growing pains. However, I do think as the season goes along, this team will show signs of improvement week in and week out. I think we will be playing our best football at the end of the season. The question will be whether or not we dug ourselves too deep a hole earlier in the season to be able to get out of and make the Playoffs. If we do get in, though, even as the 7 seed, that we will be a team that nobody wants to play. If we get in, the rest of the season won't matter because it will be on.
  13. Maybe it's just me, but I don't get the Jordan Love hype. He's been missing open guys and he just basically threw a 2 yard hospital ball on 3rd down way short of the sticks. On a positive note, the GB offensive scheme looks pretty good, but the trigger man has just been missing a ton tonight.
  14. I had a feeling this was going to happen when the announced the rules. The 30 yard line is not penalty enough for kicking it out of the end zone. However, if the moved it to the 35, or even the 40, I think you would see most of the kicks in play. I think teams would be a lot more hesitant giving up the 35-40 against an Allen or Mahomes (or any other elite QBs) given the fact they would only have to go 30-40 yards to get points. Coaches are conservative by nature and anything they can do to control a potentially bad outcome, they are going to do. But man......having to give up the 40 would make these coaches reevaluate that decision, though. The 30? It was never going to be enough.
  15. Game's over, it's midnight, but I still want to watch more football.......
  16. What brutal clock management by the Ravens.....and Jackson for holding the ball for forever....
  17. I mean, a 300lb lineman could have scored on that play if the defense is just going to let the guy go and not cover him. But yeah...... the blow up will be something.
  18. I said it earlier, but if the NFL truly wants returns on kickoffs, they really need to increase the penalty for kicking it out of the end zone. They need to bring it out to the 35 at minimum. Maybe it will even take the 40 yard line.
  19. Quite honestly, I have no idea how the Ravens are only down 3 right now going into halftime. I mean, they are a missed FG away from being tied. They have been pretty bad on both sides of the ball. They have to feel extremely lucky to be in this right now.
  20. Starting to think I should have drafted Likely instead of Andrews. He looks like the go to guy in the TE group.
  21. Maybe...... But that really isn't the point. I'm more upset about the officiating....
  22. Of course..... Andrews first catch negated by another illegal formation call. A call mind you that could be called on the Chiefs every play but has not been called once on them yet.....
  23. Not sure he would have been able to get that far down the field in that amount of time..... Cause he's slow.....
