I'm not saying we should take him, but I know some people really want him. I think the Bils should try and trade up here to get Dorsey. If not, look totrade down a few spots for more picks.

Yeah! That is the guy I want! In this league, you win by getting to the QB. To do this on a consistant basis, you need 3 GREAT DTs. The Bills potentially have 2 in Stroud and McCargo..... Dorsey would complete this dominant rotation and our Defense would be absolutely NASTY!

ESPN is basically saying that the first 4 picks are locks.. LONG LONG RYAN MCFADDEN All of a sudden KC is on the clock and Dorsey is still on the board. Man, I would at least make a phone call. KC does want more picks (even though they already have a ton) and getting our 11 and our 2nd rund pick might be looking tempting. We would still have enough picks to move up back into the 2nd Round and grab the WR we need. I would at least make the phone call.

I know it may be out here a bit with our other needs, but if Dorsey is there at 5 when the Chiefs are picking.....I sure hope the Bills at least make the phone call to see what it would take to move up 6 slots. Dorsey, Stroud, McCargo, Johnson, Williams.......Now that is a DT rotation! The fast is that you win in this league by pressuring the QB. With those guys up the middle (Dorsey and Stround comanding double teams all the time) and having Schobel and Kelsay speed rushing on the outside, our D-Line would be as dominant as any in the league. with that D-Line, the LBs we have in POZ, KM, and AC would make our front 7 as good as any in the league!!! You could get away with McGee and Greer at CB with that front 7 and with Whitner and Simpson at S. If the Bills were to make a trade up to get Dorsey, our Defense would be as stron as any in the league.....providing everyone stays healthy. I know I may be dreaming here, but if Dorsey is on the board at 5....I really hope the Bills at least look into it.

Yeah.....I hope that they are not going to do just the top 10.

I'm talking about the entire package and what NATIONAL EXPOSURE gives you.......If you are good, you create new fans, bandwagon fans, etc. In turn, you sell more merchandise among other things. Lok at NE. Before they were any good, NOBODY CARED ABOUT THAT TEAM. They win and all of a sudden they are one of the richest teams in the leagues. It is all a domino effect. You WIN and you will make me money. PS. You win and get to the PLAYOFFS, that is MORE MONEY RIGHT THERE!

Actuall....THAT IS MY POINT! The fact is, they are making a TON OF MONEY right now! They would even make MORE MONEY IF THEY PUT A DECENT PROUCT ON THE FIELD! Merchandise, TV contracts, NATIONAL EXPOSURE, etc. would be increased if they would have been better. BUT THE FACT IS, they are in the MIDDLE OF THE PACK when it comes to revenue already (even being in a small market). It is not like this team is poor and not making money and at the bottom of the league.

Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do. Especially in the next 5 years! Not only are we giving 1 out of 8 EVENTS this year, but for the next 4 years to follow as well! This is a total sham.... I wish there as somehting that we could do to guarantee this team is here forever.....or at least for the next 75 years, but there really isn't. Unfortunately money talks. And I guess the MILLIONS that they are making now are not enough...they need to make a FEW MILLION MORE. This blows.

You know, I haven't really thought much about it until the schedule came out today. I took it at face value that the Bills were just trying to expand their brand and generate more interest. BUT THEN THE SCHEDULE CAME OUT TODAY...... Everything is just starting to sink in a little bit. We, as DIE-HARD Bills fans are having to give up 1 of just 8 SPECTACULAR EVENTS that happen in this town every year. And for what......so the Bills can make a few more bucks???? Believe what you want, but the fact is that Ralph Wilson is making money hand over fist and his greed is just taking over here. This is a PURE MONEY GRAB.....simple as that. AND THAT STINKS. The Bills are MAKING MONEY....A LOT OF MONEY. They sell out EVERY GAME as it is. They don't need to create a new fan base. That is a bunch of crap. IT WOULD HAVE NEVER COME TO THIS IF THEY WOULD HAE JUST PUT A DECENT TEAM ON THE FIELD IN THE LAST DECADE. PEOPLE WILL SPEND MONEY ON A GOOD TEAM AND THE BILLS HAVE NOT BEEN A GOOD TEAM IN A DECADE. And yet......despite the fact that this organization has put a lousy team out there year in and year out, WE SHOWED UP. How do we get rewarded? By taking away 1 of just 8 Home games..... Sorry guys, it is all just sinking in here.........PLAYING IN TORONTO STINKS! It is time for a NEW OWNER to ome in and take this team over (PROVIDING THAT THE OWNER KEEPS THE TEAM IN BUFFALO).

Lots of FA schedule PCs even if they don't sign. Happenns all the time. I would love for him to sign before leaving here, but that probably won't happen. This is just a normal PC where the local media can ask a potential FA about himself and career. No big deal.

For the first time in many years, I am not excited at all about Free Agency. I don't know if I have ever felt like this. I do realize that there are many reasons for it, but this is always one of my favorite times of year. But, for some reason I can't get excited at all about Free Agency and that is why I have been pretty quiet around here lately. I mean, between not signing or even franchising Clements (BIG MISTAKE), signing Kelsay to a REDICULIOUS contract that he doesn't deserve, the whole Cash To the Cap crap, this overall cheap organization, etc, I am just not getting fired up. It doesn't help that this Free Agent Class isn't very good at all. Aside from 5-10 players, there is hardly anyone worth going after. I realize that if there is nobody out there to spend money on, then we shouldn't. I would have been very happy if the Bills would have paid Clements and signed Steinbach. Those two players would help this team a great deal this season. I am not saying we are not going to be players and bring some guys in, but I guess I just will have to see it to believe it. We haven't signed an IMPACT PLAYER since Spikes. Maybe it is because I see what the Sabres are doing and I look at them as an organization that knows how to do things the right way. I just see the Bills spinning their tires with a lot of distractions along the way (McGahee, Cash To Cap, etc). Look, I love the Bills with all my heart. They mean soooooo much to me and I just want them to be competitive again. They made great strides last season and it really gave me hope that this season will be the year we finally get a shot in the Playoffs, but with Clements and Fletcher going (so far); we have gotten worse, not better. I am holding out hope that they finally do improve the offensive line (we all know I have been banging that drum the last 10 years), can replace Clements adequately, have a GREAT draft and move forward as an organization, but it will not be easy.

I am not one of those people ready to run McGahee out of town, but it is good to see #34 at the top of our site. He was everything we need in a running back. Hopefully, even though it probably won't happen, if we can improve the O-Line this season (as I have been calling for for the past 10 years, it seems), that McGhee, or whoever the RB is, can get something done this season. Our success depends on the Offensive and Defensive lines. Until they are drastically upgraded, we will be an average team......But that is for another day. Like I said, good to see Thurman up there and hopefully we can get production like he gave us out of another RB someday SOON!!!!

Been saying it for years.......still waiting...... The problem is that the Bills just don't want to make the commitment necessary to bring in the top guys on the offensive a defensive line. There have been several FAs over the last several years that would have made his one of the best lines in the league, but instead of signing the top guys (the guys with the most talent), they have been content bringing in the 2nd tier guys that have not made a big difference in the line.....Unfortunately, this FA year is not stocked with a ton of top talent, so don't count on big changes this year, either. Peters is a stud on our line. But, after that, every other position could use a HUGE upgrade. Expect another average to below average year for both lines.

I agree. It was a complete team loss. But the original post was about Kelly and basically how he lost ups the game because he was drunk or something. I was just stating that there was plenty of blame to go around for that loss. But yeah, TT should have lugged the rock a lot more than he did that night.

Just in case you forgot......the Bills offense scored a point per minute of their possesion time in that game. Maybe if the Bills had the ball for more than 19 minutes, the game would have been different. That gmae was not on Kelly or the offense. That game was not on Norwood. That game was on the defense. PERIOD.
