I am not saying anything 1 way or the other, but I find it interesting that our Starting Offense after tomorrow's game may have gone the entire Preseason without playing 1 series together. Sure, most were there in the Hall of Fame Game, but Butler was still missing from the lineup. T.O. hasn't been there every game since and after tomorrow, it looks like the entire offense would not have played 1 series together the entire Preseason. Based on what Jauron has been saying, it looks like many, if not all starters will not be playing much, if at all. It may be nothing in the grand scheme of things, but for this team with all the new parts, especially on offense, not having 1 series together, it is definitely worth noting.

Add McKelvin and Moorman to that list... Then, I think the list is done......

It's funny..... Coming into tonight, I was SURE that Edwards was going to come out throwing it deep down the field. He had been taking heat all week long for checking down every play and not challenging the defense down the field and I was certain he was going to come out and try to prove a point. Well, he proved a point......he is Captain Checkdown and that is just what he is. He is scared to throw the ball down the field and we are going to get run off the field this season. Owens is going to be yelling at him in Week 1 and I have a feeling we will all be yelling along with him.

Seems like I have seen this somewhere before.....

You know.....I have been thinking about this since the first preseason game, but never said anything. Fitz comes to the line and audibles A LOT. Edwards rarely does it. Not sure why. It could be that Edwards just doesn't know what he is looking at and doesn't have a clue what to audible to. Not sure.....

Can't wait for the post-game press conferences.... DJ: "It's tough to make first downs in this league, let alone get passed midfield" Edwards: "We haven't gotten a chance to see the 3-4 in practice or game situations a lot. We'll look at the tape and maybe get a couple scout team looks in practice this week. I'm just going through my progressions and taking what the defense is giving me. The 10 yard passes were just not there and I had to look to check down."

Every QB that has played tonight has shown they can complete a throw 10+ yards down the field.....well, except 1....

Fitz......1st pass.....a 20 yard strike.....

In a way, I am really hoping Fitz comes out and moves right down the field.... Maybe then we can get more of a confirmation that Edwards is the problem....

I am beginning to wonder if we will make it to mid-field this game.....

Do we have 3 first downs yet? I only remember 1 on that Lynch run.....I figure there has to be at least 1 more that I am forgetting..... I don't think we have 3, do we?

I really want to see Fitz with the starters. Trent is not getting it done..... I just would be interested to see if it is really the offense or if it is just Trent. I'm really starting to think that the offensive problems are Trent's.....not the rest of the team.

OK....now I am convinced it is our QB. We haven't had a QB be able to make plays like that since Kelly. Edwards is not good enough.

I refuse to believe that this offense, with these players is this bad. If the QBs were switched in this game and BR played for us, I KNOW we would be MUCH BETTER. I really think that the offense might be OK. It is the QB that is throwing the whole thing off.

I am wondering if this is the offense itself or if it is Trent..... SERIOUSLY.... I really think we need to put someone else in and see what happens. I just think Trent does not have a clue what he is looking at out here.
