These penalties...........this is out of hand.......

Penalties....... Are the Pats* still at 1 penalty? Maybe 2?

I know we haven't done too much on ofense yet, but we're really just not helping ourselves at all. It seems like every play we have had that has been decent has been called back. If we could just stop the penalties and give ourselves a chance, I think we'll be OK. But right now, if we're not fmbling it away, we are backing ourselves into a corner with penalties. On defense, on 3rd down, we need to blitz a lot more than we are. Brady has all day when we play coverage, That TD was aprime example. If he is rushed at all, that TD doesn't happen.

And I think we just lost the game right there. You can't preach aggressive, attacking, forward thinking offense, and then punt in that situation. Just awful.........

The penalties are killing us right now. That turnover really hurt too. If we could stop beating ourselves, we'd be right in this.

The Pats* have 3 guys just spying Spiller right now. The Bills are going to have to hit a few throws down the field to lossen that up.

OK.....we seriously need to watch these upcoming cuts for CBs. Ours are absolutely awful. I don't care if they don't know the playbook or not. There has to be better man-to-man cover guys out there that will be released in the next couple days that will definitely be beter than anything we have. THis is embarrasing. We'll get beat by 50 again if these clowns are playing agains Brady.

They did blitz, but nowhere near the extent they have been. It was not the same stuff they have been doing.

Whatever that was that they put on the field today was not the same defense they have been playing. They clearly weren't bring the pressure like they were in the first couple games. I don't know why they did this.....maybe to get a look at some guys in a very base defense? I don't know.... But it clearly was not the same pressure package they have been bringing in the first 2 weeks.

For whatever reason, just watching the game as it has gone on, our defense just hasn't looked like it has the last couple weeks. Not just saying that because they have been bad, but it just doesn't seem like they are doing the same they have done in terms of bringing pressure or anything. Looks like a different scheme or something. Will have to pay closer attention when I watch it back, but it just doesn't look like the same defense.

Bradham is having a bad game so far as well.....

Well, here is what we learned in that 1st Quarter: 1. Spiller should not play another down until the opener. 2. It's a good thing Byrd is back 3. The players that have been terrible to this point continue to be terrible 4. Without playing a down, EJ has not only increased his lead in the QB battle, but has locked up the QB job with Kolb's injury. Well, in my opinion anyway. This competition is over.
