  1. That looked like a miscommunication on that TD. Looked like both guys let the WR go thinking the other guy had him. Not a great start.
  2. Nice to see Kolb sacking himself....... Really....Come on...
  3. Obviously, nobody knows right now, but with Spiller on the field and ready to go, my guess is that they are not really close. But of course, everything is speculation at this point.

  5. Blue Crush But seriously, you guys have some good ones.... As far as I'm concerned, I don't think we need a name. Let's just roll with the Bills Defense and see where things end up.
  6. Look....don't get me wrong. I want to win. But, I want to win it ALL. I want the ring. I'm looking at the big picture. Even the most optimistic fans will have to admit that we are not winning the Super Bowl this season. But that is the goal eventually. So, keeping that in mind, you have to find a QB that can win a Super Bowl. And right now, based on everything I have seen from Kolb in his career (not just here), he is not going to be the QB of a Super Bowl winning team. EJ Manuel may never be good enough to win one either......but the thing is, we don't know yet. My mission is to find out if there is going to be that potential there someday. So, I want him playing as much as possible to find out so if he isn't going to be able to get it done, I can go find someone who can. I want to win the whole thing. Kolb, in my opinion, will never be good enough to do that. If Kolb is better than Manuel now, so what? How many wins can we get to with Kolb under center this season......8-8? I'm sorry, but I amd sick of all the average to below average results. Hoping that a journeyman QB can put together a couple more wins to fight to get to .500 is not good enough for me. I can't stand settleing for a couple extra wins (maybe) at the detrement of the long-term goal. I'd rather take my lumps with Manuel now (and, who knows.....you may end up with the same record anyway), get him a year under his belt and really look to win everything in the next 2-4 years. Kolb gets in the way of Manuel's development. I need Manuel to get the experience he can and if he can't get it done, so be it. But I want to know that as soon as possible. Can't learn that if he is on the bench while a journeyman is taking the snaps. I want to win....now and in the future. But I want it all and I have to find the QB that can do it. I don;t know if Manuel ever will be able to do it......but I know Kolb won't. Oh....and by the way.....I did figure that Kolb would be starting this game if he was healthy. It only makes sense. Yes, the coaching staff needs to make this a competition and allow the rest of the team to see for themselves that Manuel deserves the job. It can't just be given to him for a lot of different reasons. Unfortunately, it just takes away reps from Manuel that he could use to get ready for Week 1.....assuming he is the starter, as most think he will be. Will it make that much of a difference in the long run? Probably not. But yes, Kolb starting here is actually the right thing to do. EJ has to take the job.....or at least be as good as Kolb and show the team he is capable. And he should be. But even if it is close, Manuel need to play.
  7. OK.....here's the thing. I know the Bills want to make this into a competition to see who should start this upcoming season, but the fact is, the only thing I want to find out is if EJ is good enough to be the future QB of this team. PERIOD. That is what I want out of this season. Teams that are great and win Championships have a star QB (or pretty close). The fact is, whether Kolb is better than Manuel right now means nothing to me. I want to win a Championship and to do that, I need to find a REAL QB. Kolb, even if he is better than Manuel right now, will never win a Championship. I couldn't care less about Kolb. The only QB competion I want to see is Manuel vs Manuel. What I mean by that is I want to watch him play the entire season, getting as many snaps as possible and if good and promising Manuel prevails at the end of the season, no matter what the record, that's great. If bad and inconsistent Manuel shows up by the end of the season, and he isn't showing much promise, I need to know because if that's the case, I'm drafting another QB in the 1st Round next year as well. Then, whoever that ends up being can battle Manuel next year and the best QB will play. I need to find a QB that can win. You know a winner when you see it.....even if it takes the entire season to develop. The point is, I don't want to waste any meaningful snaps on a guy that I will never win a Championship with. Right now, we know what Kolb is.....we don't know what Manuel is. This season is all about trying to find out.
  8. Awesome offense nets less-than-awesome result In 2002, Drew Bledsoe threw for 4,359 yards, Travis Henry ran for 1,438 yards, Eric Moulds had 1,292 receiving yards and Peerless Price had 1,252 receiving yards. The Bills went 8-8 that season and finished last in the AFC East, as the three other teams finished 9-7. The Bills are the only team in NFL history to have a 4,000-yard passer, 1,000-yard rusher and two 1,000-yard receivers while finishing in last place in their division. This is the one that just really baffles the mind. How in the world can you do that and only get to 8-8. I remember watching it, and I saw it with my own eyes, but it is really kind of unbelievable when looking back on it.
  9. CRAP!!! Oh well........I give the Cards credit for taking the chance. I wanted to do it. Oh well........on to the next pick.
  10. I know.....but you know what? Even if it is only a 30% chance it works, if it does work, it would be a steal. Do I like the kid? No.....but he is very talented. And I think this locker room would be a good one for him to be in. No real trouble makers and I think it would take away some of the temptation. Yes, there is a good chance it fails terribly, but sometimes you have to take a chance. If it doesn't work, just move on. Won't be huge money,
  11. A TON OF RISK, I KNOW...... But if it works, it would be an absolutel steal...... I want to take a chance. If it doesn't work, it's just another 3rd round pick that doesn't work. If it does work, though......would be huge.
  12. i'm saying this right now.....if it's me picking in the 3rd, and he's still there, I'm doing it..... Tyrann Mathieu
  13. Interesting. Not sure what to think just yet. I guess that is why having a new coahing staff makes all of this more interesting......we just don't know exactly what they have in mind yet.
  14. Hoping this isn’t the end. We have a lot of dead weight on this team. It is average players like these that have kept us from the Playoffs and competing for a Championship. Well, average players like these and absolutely terrible QBs. Anyway, we are heading in the right direction, but there are still a lot of players that need to go! Keep going!!!!
  15. Yeah. Hoping this isn't then end...... Still a lot of dead weaight on this team!
  16. http://wgr550.com/Re...Wilson/15502925 Hoping this isn't the end! A lot more players need to go! I like these guys as people, but we need beter players. This is a start.
  17. Heard that Fitz one-hopped the baby girl while trying to pass her off to Grandma.......... OK......seriously......congrats to the family!
  18. You know what......I loved that interview. I know, doesn't mean a whole lot, but you can see the passion and the excitement. You can see the fire. And being youg and hungry never hurts. Personally, I am kind of excited to see what these guys can put together. I like the youth movement. I just hope this means it is about forward thinking. No more punting inside the oponents 38 with 4th and 5 or less......PERIOD. There is a lot more than that out of an ofense that I want and need, obviously, but that drives me crazy all the time. Be aggressive. Dictate the game and how you want to play it.....not the other way around.
  19. BINGO!!! We may not know a ton about the guy.....his coaching style, philosophy, etc., but that is what makes this kind of exciting at the same time. At this point, I think we need the unknown more than the known...... Were there good coaches out there (who were just fired), sure....but I want something different.....something I haven't seen before. That is why I wanted Kelly. But this hire is along the same lines....we just don't know as much about him, yet. The only thing we really know is that he took a college team that hasn't been relevant sinc McNabb was drafted and turned it around very quickly...... Sounds like another situation I know of........ Now, we just have to see if lightning can strike in the pros as it did in college! Definitely is interesting if nothing else!!! I think the most important part in all of this will be who he brings in for a staff......Can't wait to find out...... GO BILLS!!!
  20. Yeah......there has been guessing, but this is different........ Pretty sure this is done with the way it was written........
  21. Nothing like breaking news in the middle of the night! I don't know much about how he coaches, but I kind of like the unknown at this point. LET'S GO BILLS!!!! So, let's review what has happened at 5:00am on 1-6-2013......... NHL Lockout is over......... The Bills have a new head coach....... Who needs sleep!!!!!
  22. Adam Schefter ‏@AdamSchefterFiled to ESPN: Doug Marrone has agreed to leave Syracuse and become the next head coach of the Buffalo Bills.LET'S GO!!!!
