  1. So, the Cheats* just admitted that they filmed the sideline of the Bengals, blamed it on independent contractors, but claim they weren't going to use the footage for anything else but the documentary. OK.....sound legit. Scum of the earth. They just got caught red-handed and this time it didn't have a chance to be covered up before it got out. It's now or never NFL.....
  2. Obviously I, or any of us, don't know what is on that tape. What makes me interested in this is that the Bengals are said to have the original copy of the tape and turned it over to the NFL. Now, to me anyway, it only stands to reason that the Bengals who confiscated the original tape would have watched it and know what is exactly on there. If there was nothing obvious to question, would they have turned it over to the NFL? Even if they were required to do that, why be so short with the statement basically saying there is no statement and that the NFL is investigating? They could have dismissed it all together saying it is no big deal. I'm wondering if they know what is on the tape is more than what is being reported on and therefore they are being very careful in what they are saying until the NFL says something.
  3. Better yet, just disqualify them from winning any divisional titles and make the ineligible for the Playoffs. HA!
  4. He left 3 long TDs on the field today. He was not good at all. A C- might be generous. He picked it up a bit late, but this is a tough league and when you get guys running open for sure TDs, you have to hit them more often than not. He didn't hit 1 of those long ones that were there for the taking. And, between himself and the coaching staff, you have to learn to beat Cover 0 at least sometimes. It was a bad game. It happens. Hopefully we have another shot at these guys in a few weeks.
  5. With 3 decent throws, we'd have 21 on the board..... The shots are there for the taking. Just have to hit them. I for one am not going to complain because WRs are running wide open deep.
  6. "The Super Bowl MVP for the World Champion Buffalo Bills" works for me. Rolls right off the tongue.
  7. This game has been fun for the nation to watch. Always great to see the Cheatriots* get rolled. Anyway, with the Pats* playing the Chiefs next week, if we can somehow find a way to beat the Ravens, things could get very interesting down the stretch. EDIT: Of course Houston let's them score as soon as I post this. What the heck kind of defense was that????????
  8. Anybody that has been complaining about the lack of respect this team gets will have their opportunity to either earn it or lose it over the next few weeks. With 3 national prime time games in 4 weeks, with the other game coming against perhaps the NFL's best team right now in the Ravens, it's time to put up or shut up. The Bills organization has an opportunity in a 4 week span to become relevant to the NFL and the country again. The question becomes whether they will sieze the opportunity, or be thought of as the "same old Bills" again. We're going to find out real quick which players and coaches on this team are ready for prime time.
  9. Milano and Edmunds will have to be great next week for us to have a shot.
  10. This was a great win. An awesome win even. The best win the Bills have had in a long time. While I am not taking away anything from this win, I am going to hold off at least 1 more week to see how they handle the Ravens. That challenge is on a whole different level. Today was great, but next week will be a real test.
  11. Yeah....this was about as solid as an "A" grade can be. The best game of his career. Statement game.
  12. Josh has to bleed the clock more. Snapping it with too much time left.
  13. Just when you think you've seen it all in a football game.....
  14. Not saying this to be funny, but this might be a game Allen needs to throw for over 300 to just stay close.
  15. Honestly, his footwork is much improved since college. You are starting to see less and less of 5 and 7 step drops as a whole in the NFL. Offenses are now being designed to be more quick hit, get the ball out in order to limit the pass rush. With Allen, they have simplified this even further. They are using his long stride to their advantage. Because of his stride length, he can get to prper depths a little quicker with less steps. This keeps him on platform more often as he doesn't have to think about his feet as much. As for the bouncing, many great QBs do this. It keeps the QB on his toes and ready to move his feet at any given moment. Allows the QB to stay active and engaged the entire play. But yeah, overall, Allen's footwork, while not perfect all the time, is night and day better than where it was in college and it has translated to improved throws this season.
  16. And the 5 yard penalty allows you to do the same exact thing.
  17. I don't care if you're up a couple scores or not. IT'S DUMB and a professional football coach needs to know that no matter what the situation.
  18. WHY WASTE THE TIME OUT???????????????????????????????????????????????? Worst clock manager ever!!!!!!!!!
  19. Have the wind advantage and yet doing nothing with it. So conservative.
  20. Yet another game that should be over by now, bit because of coaching and terrible penalties, it's still there to lose. I just don't get why they make it so hard on themselves every single week.
  21. That time out cost the Bills 3 points and a time out. Terrible coaching. That QB can't hardly throw the ball 13 yards into that wind and you waste that. Awful again.
  22. How do you not call a time out with a second left and throw it to the endzone?????? I know it's into the wind, but Allen has the arm to get it there. Awful......
  23. It's a passing league. You pass to score points. I have no problem with them passing the ball a lot and trying to win that way. It's time for the Buffalo Bills to step out of the dark ages and try and compete in a league that is passing them by......literally. Now, does that mean they are using all these throws correctly? NO!!!! Most every pass is being designed for WRs to hook up, square in or square out to the sidelines, and come back to the ball. They are hardly running enough plays that are designed to get run after the catch which is how a lot of offenses put up big passing numbers. Now, I don't know if this is because they have determined Allen can't throw slants, crossers, etc. effectively enough on a regular basis or if this is just the general scheme of our offense in general. But whatever. We have a long way to go on offense whichever way you want to put it. But, I have absolutely no problem with trying to light up the scoreboard throwing the ball all over the place. We've had 20 years of ground and pound and it has gotten us nothing. But, with the offense the way it is designed, and the lack of overall talent on the offensive side of the ball outside a few guys, I'm not sure our version of this passing offense will work. But, I have no problems with them trying to build an offense around the passing game in general.
  24. What a wild game...... Fun stuff. And look, no huddling to waste 30 seconds off the clock to settle for a 53+ yard FG on grass.
  25. This game is incredible....
