  1. No thanks..... Arm isn't there.....
  2. I'm higher on the Big 3 QBs in the draft than many. I know a lot of people have questions about all of them, but, to me, I think they all have a great chance to be special in the NFL. And, as hard as it is sometimes to deal away picks, I am a firm believer that it is pretty easy to fill other positions on the field with good players. The one position that it is not easy to fill is QB and that is the 1 position you have to take chances on every once in a while. The Colts have been my target from the start. Give up whatever is necessary to get to 3. Is it a risk? Sure is...... But it's time to take a big swing and get the position right for a change. Risk is worth it......for the QB position only. Get me Darnold, Rosen or Mayfield no matter what the cost.
  3. So true..... I mean, I can't even count how many times in these 2 games alone I'm just thinking to myself "Well, there's are throw Tyrod doesn't try" or "There's a throw I haven't seen Taylor make in 3 years." And it's tough to watch because it is so frustrating. Sure, Brady makes throws because he's great. But these other journeymen QBs are making throws that I have never seen Tyrod attempt, let along make. Our passing game has been remedial at best for years now. Time to stop settling for terrible and expect better. Whatever you need to do come draft time......if you believe a guy will be great, do whatever it takes to get him. The position is everything in this sport.
  4. Can't give up 3rd and 18 and expect to win. Those are the plays you have to finish......
  5. Jenna Cottrell‏ @JennaCottrell 6m6 minutes ago Rob Gronkowski now in karma protocol
  6. That might be the 2nd best penalty the Jags could have taken there, next to knocking Brady out, anyway....
  7. Thanks.... Pretty annoying if you ask me. Same thing with that skol thing with the Vikings....
  8. OK.....what does this crap mean? I know it's a Jags thing of some sort, but I guess I missed what it is in relation to.
  9. I would give up 5 firsts if it meant getting a Franchise QB. In this case, if I was absolutely confident he was going to be great, I'd do it in a heartbeat......not just to get our Franchise guy, but to beat the living crap out of the Pats* for the next decade WITH THE GUY THEY GAVE AWAY!!!! Couldn't get much sweeter than that.
  10. Been saying this for a while now. I have no idea what his injury status is or the likelihood of re-injury, but if he has even the remote opportunity to continue his career, I'd want to take the chance and sign him. Why limit yourself to one chance in finding your franchise QB? If Bridgewater can somehow make a complete comeback from injury, and you take a guy in Round 1 (whether you trade up or not), you have 2 young, talented guys on your team and we can just hope that at least 1 in the answer! Give yourself an additional opportunity to find the long-term answer. If it doesn't work, it doesn't work, but it's a chance I'd like to take.
  11. No.....for many reasons. First, it was a legal play. We got screwed on a forward lateral. Also, the Saints have won a Super Bowl fairly recently. We haven't won one and, on top of that, had we rightfully won that game, there was a good chance we could have competed for, and possibly won, the Super Bowl that year. Hard to get legitimately upset having a Championship banner hanging in the rafters, Add on to all of this that we went on to miss the Playoffs for 17 years, being screwed out of games on a regular basis along the way. What the Saints are going through is nothing. With Brees at QB, they'll be back to compete again next year.
  12. 14.5 easy
  13. That was a lOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOng second.
  14. Face mask? Against every other team. Not the Pats*, though.
  15. Decker gets called on WAY LESS than what Gronk does every play. FIXED
  16. OK....we'll let you bend over and, once you pull your head out of your butt, you can give us your next load of crap.
  17. My top 2 choices are Matt Canada and Chud. Would be fine with either....
  18. Good list. I really have no desire for McCoy myself, but I know some do. I know a lot of people might think his offense might be too far out of the box, but the name that intrigues me most is Matt Canada. Some might think his offense relies too much on motion, gimmicks, etc, but I have always been a firm believer in doing something on offense that nobody else does. This makes you harder to prepare for, especially if teams only see him once in a while. It's one thing to watch the offense on tape, but completely different when seeing it live. I think you get a leg up this way. I have watched a lot of his offense over the years and it is definitely different and something that you don't see anywhere else and I think he is a very creative mind that can design plays that win on a regular basis. Yes, Peterman was his QB, but that is not the reason I want him. While that is an advantage if you do plan on using Peterman next year, I don't think he has the physical tools to be a long term answer. But, I have seen Peterman in that offense and he did a lot of great things. The idea of putting a better QB in that same system is pretty exciting. For me, I would love to have Canada here with Chud a close 2nd.
  19. Jon Scott‏ @JonScottTV 10m10 minutes ago Brandon Beane says his biggest job as GM is to find a franchise quarterback. Doesn't care where he finds it (free agency or draft), just that he does. #Bills My takeaway from this comment: If Tyrod was that guy, he wouldn't have to go out looking or have to find him, right?
  20. Asking Tyrod the same thing. Throw the freaking ball!
  21. With an NFL QB we do......easily!
