  1. Man.....what a game. Could you imagine if that was the Super Bowl? Unbelievable. As a Bills fan, I am not sure if this is fun to watch or depressing. We don't play the same sport as these teams do.
  2. Something tells me that there is a good chance he comes back to the practice squad....... It's not over until he signs somewhere else.
  3. Adams seems to be celebrating quite a bit for a team that is down 4 touchdowns to a 2-7 football team that had trouble picking up first downs until today........
  4. He has the strongest arm ever recorded at the combine. Not only were his combine numbers the best ever, but he topped those velocity numbers at the Senior Bowl. He has the strongest arm eve according the the numbers. But what does it really matter? You have to have so many other traits to be a successful QB. Throwing hard can only take you so far. It's whether or not he can figure out how to play the position that really matters.
  5. How many points has he scored? I was talking about skilled players, moron. And how good is he, really? Just because he is the best lineman on a team that has terrible lineman doesn't make him great. Look, if you an others want to blindly follow this coaching staff and front office, that's fine. But I, along with many others, will wait for some type of evidence they know what they are doing. You do realize that Rex Ryan and his clown show has a better record than McDermott through the same amount of games, right?
  6. The problem is this whole topic is about the confidence level we have in McDermott and Beane being successful in the next 2-3 years. They have shown, to this point, that they are nowhere near where any of us want to be. We lucked into the Playoffs last year and that is great to get that monkey off our back, but we were not a good team. This year, we are even worse. So, it's just hard to have any faith for the next 2-3 years until they show us something positive. Sure, the defense is better this year, but by how much? We've gotten blown out in half our games. And, as we have been discussing above, they have yet to prove they can identify any kind of offensive talent. At this point, it is on them to prove they know what they are doing and show us something tangible (offensive talent) so we can believe in them. This upcoming off season is the most important of their tenure here. If we put a similar product on the field next season with no real improvement, especially points scored, then how can anyone feel confident in them going forward?
  7. You're a special kind of special and I feel sorry for you. You're constantly wrong and I just can't help your level of incompetence. You're worth nothing, especially my time.
  8. You are definitely slow..... Do some research and tell me how many drafts McDermott has been here. Here.....I'll help you out. It's more than 1, but less than 3. Although, at your education level, that math may be too complicated for you.
  9. As a fan, we just don't want to be embarrassed. Therefore, on every offensive possession we should run the ball as much as possible while running the play clock under 3 seconds every play. Hopefully we can pick up a first down on most possessions and repeat this strategy as often as possible. That way the final score won't be completely embarrassing. Maybe we can lose 27-10 or something like that instead of 56-3. That said, this is not how players and coaches are thinking and they are going to try their best and hopefully keep it within 20 points that way. Anyone thinking we have a chance to actually win this game is fooling themselves.
  10. Dawkins is a good player. He isn't going to help score points, but a good player. I will say this. It may be hard to gauge just how good he is yet, though, because he is the best lineman on a team with below average lineman. He is going to stand out. Is he a top tackle in this league yet? No. But he is serviceable to this point and hopefully will keep getting better and I think is someone you can win with. They need another tackle, 2 guards, and a center, though!!! HA!
  11. McDermott has has 2 drafts..... FACT Beane and McDermott have had 2 full off seasons of free agency....... FACT Beane and McDermott have had 2 full off seasons to trade for 1 good offensive talent...... FACT Beane and McDermott have not brought in 1 good offensive player........ FACT But hey.....keep your blind faith going. I wish I could do that. It would make following this team a lot more enjoyable. But I go based on actions and their actions in 2 seasons show they have yet to identify a good offensive player.
  12. McDermott has been here for 2 drafts and picked the players he wanted. Beane has been here the entirety of last season and this season. By the time the end of the season rolls around, they will have been here 2 full seasons. Two drafts and two off seasons to bring in any type of offensive talent at all. That's more than enough time to show you understand what is needed, not just talk about it. They have let good players go and replaced them with downgrades. Name 1 offensive player that has been brought in that has been any good at all in 2 seasons that should inspire faith that they can turn this offense into a modern NFL offense.
  13. Name 1 good offensive player they have added to the team in 2 years........ We're not talking about weeks or months here. We're talking 2 years of players that have come and gone. Go ahead.....name 1 good offensive player they have identified.
  14. Well, they already did us 56-10 in Primetime and I am sure at the time we thought it couldn't get worse. Well, it is worse and I wouldn't be surprised to see 56-3.
  15. Cooper was not worth a first round pick. No way I would have done that where the Bills are. However, I would have done a 5th for Gordon......... That is they type of risk/reward this team needs to take.
  16. I do wonder what they would want for Carr. While he's not a great QB by any means, he is WAY better than anything we have. A guy like him would allow Allen to take a step back for a bit and develop. His price tag is high, though. He's not the perfect QB for us, but I would kick the tires to see what it may take.
  17. ig: josinaanderson‏Verified account @JosinaAnderson Breaking: A source tells me that WR Amari Cooper will be traded to the Dallas #Cowboys. I will be very interested to see the compensation. He's a guy that had a couple great years and has battled the ball a bit recently. Still super young and talented. Depending on the price, he's a guy that I would have wanted the Bills to look at. UPDATE: Traded straight up for a 1st Round Pick in 2019. I like Cooper, but not for that price........
  18. Winning games didn't mean much to me either this year. What did matter is the rookie QB's development no matter who it was. But to go into this year thinking Peterman was going to be good enough to get you through the year is a tragic fatal flaw in anyone's plan, especially to the guys that run the team. There is no way that should have even been a thought and that is nothing more than another strike against the organization and another reason why they shouldn't have anyone's faith to figure this out in the next 2 years.
  19. And it is a good first step, although some will argue that they didn't pick the right guy. It's too early to say that for sure, but as of now, it isn't exactly promising yet. But regardless, you have to be able to help your young QB and all that they have done is hinder him. They took away all his weapons. They are playing him well before he is ready to be on the field. They have no real QB coach. They had no veteran QB ahead of him to learn from until a week and a half ago. The list of failures on offense is astounding. So yeah......how can anyone have faith at this point that they will get it right? They have not done 1 thing right on the offensive side of the ball, the most important side of the ball, since they have come in.
  20. Not changing my argument at all. I said they are operating under the premise that defense and running win. They can talk about a QB driven league being the way to go all they want, but to this point, they haven't shown they believe that. Outside of Allen and a couple of late round flyers, the draft was all about defense. Their free agents were all about defense. They let all of their average to above average offensive talent go. Any offensive player they have brought in have been busts (jury still out on Allen). I am asking them to prove it to me that they believe offense and scoring points is the way to win in the NFL, not just talk about it. To this point, all they have done is talk about the QB being important. Who cares...... show me you mean it and that you know how to and can do it. This whole topic is about your confidence level in the organization and their chances of being successful in the next 2-3 years. I am saying there is no way, to this point, you can be confident in them being successful because they haven't proven they recognize the way to win in this league is through offense and scoring a lot of points. Everything they have done to this point has been the opposite. They shouldn't have forever to figure it out. If they put up 1-2 more seasons scoring at the bottom of the league, they won't (shouldn't) be here. And they are so far away from a good offense it's a joke. Don't talk about it, be about it. And to this point, they have shown zero signs of knowing what it takes to win on a regular basis in this league. Until they do, how can anyone be confident?
  21. He litterally said it today: WGR 550‏Verified account @WGR550 6h6 hours ago McDermott - I'd love to score 50 points, that'd allow me to sleep a lot easier. Balance is key, but you want to be able to attack the weakness of the defense. Where we live in Buffalo, you want to be able to be physical and run the football. This is the type of antiquated thinking that will get you blown out by real teams. The idea that you have to run the football because we are in Buffalo is insane. New England, Pittsburgh, Green Bay, Philadelphia, etc. etc....... All cold, bad weather cities that realized a long time ago that you throw the ball to win. I am tired of hearing coaches say that you have to win by running the ball because we live in Buffalo. It is dumb and untrue. Heck, even the 90's Bills threw the ball a ton (at the time) in Buffalo and didn't have a problem scoring points. We don't have a QB. We don't have weapons. The trades and picks we have made for offensive players have all been terrible (Allen excluded because it is too early). Show me 1 time that they have identified a great offensive player that has contributed to our team. Show me 1 bit of proof they know what offensive talent looks like. I'll wait, but not too long because there is no answer. You can have blind faith that they can figure out the offense. But I haven't seen 1 example to show me, or anyone else for that matter, that they know what a good offensive player looks like. The only decent offensive talent they had on their team they traded away or let go and now they are contributing to other teams. Name the 1 guy they have brought in on offense that has made us better. They can talk about it being a QB driven league all they want. That is an obviously fundamental statement that the entire NFL knows. It's about walking the walk and not talking the talk. Right now our offense is worse than offenses that played on the 30's and 40's. How long do you think they get to crawls out of the stone age on offense? This league is about what have you done for me lately...... They don't have forever to get it right.
  22. Every single time they talk, they go on and on about how important it is to get the running game going. They talk about having to be great on defense to stay in games. They have repeatedly said that defense and running the ball is the basis of any offense. That is old-time football! Their entire goal is to keep the games low scoring and win a close game. Look around the league! You win by throwing the football all over the field and occasionally throw in a run here and there. I guarantee you that McDermott will never want to win games by throwing the ball 35-45 times every game.
  23. In order to be successful in the NFL in 2018 (and going forward), you have to understand how to build and run a high powered scoring offense. Not only have both of them shown zero signs to this point to be able to identify offensive talent, but they are actually still operating under the premise that defense and running the ball is the foundation of being a successful team. I'm sorry, but until they prove that they can find 1 great offensive player, my faith is not high in this organization. They have to prove that they can build an offense that can score 25-30 points a game. That's not going to be easy for a coaching staff that has no clue what wins in the NFL today. And, by the time they figure that out, it might be too late because you can only get blown out so many times before you get fired. And McDermott has already been blown out in half of his losses.
  24. 4th and 4.....up 35..... Yeah.....go for it!! Must be nice.
  25. I have seen more creativity in this Chiefs drive (up by 35) than the Bills have shown all season. They, along with just about the rest of the NFL, are playing a completely different sport.
