  1. I'll say this.... He knows how to track and high-point the ball. Not sure he has top-end athleticism, but he offers a catch radius. Will he make it? Who knows..... I'm all for trying it, though.
  2. On a side note, these announcers are awful. Just painful to listen to.
  3. What is the run/pass ratio on first down today. That's all you need to look at.
  4. Game should have been over at halftime. That's what a defensive head coach and conservative play calling gets you. The good teams put the hammer down even harder and bury you. A defensive-minded head coach plays not to lose. That gets you beat.
  5. Really need to start throwing the ball on early downs. Miami, and every other team for that matter, is sitting on the run knowing it is coming. Not doing Allen any favors when it is 3rd and long every series.
  6. Because he would have quit halfway through the game.......
  7. Best case is that Allen throws for 400+ yards, 5+ TDs, no picks and we still lose (preferably because we give up 5 punt and kick returns for TDs). This way, we all see something great from Allen, the defense is not awful and Crossman definitely gets fired. The only reason to be interested in this game is to see how Allen performs. As fans, we should all want him to put up great numbers, but having a top 5-7 pick would be great as well.
  8. That Chiefs vs Seahawks game tonight really put into perspective just how lacking the Bills are at the WR position. I've seen a number of contested catches, all much more difficult than what the Bills WRs couldn't come up with today. Get some weapons that can actually make the plays when they're there.
  9. I'll say this..... the Bills have been awful in all 3 phases today. However, with a couple of plays that should have easily been made, we would be right in this game. All that said, if the Cheatriots* play like this in the Playoffs, they aren't beating anyone.
  10. For sure..... Just awful on both sides of the ball.
  11. If we had a legit #1, we would have 2 TDs on the board today. Foster has been pretty terrible.
  12. In the grand scheme of things, a win or loss in that game didn't matter. Also, Allen had been playing well. Couple that with the fact that he has run for almost 500 yards this season, it doesn't really matter what the OL and WRs have been like. They are capable of getting 2 yards. They just didn't on that occasion Fact is, whether you get it or not, it is a 1 score game. It's the right call every time (unless it's really late in the game and a FG makes it a 1 score game instead of a 2 score game).
  13. Just because a play doesn't work, doesn't mean that the decision to go for it was wrong. Two separate things. Teams leave way too many points on the field because they play scared and don't go for 4th and short as much as they should. Be aggressive. With an huge, elite athlete, at QB, picking up 4th and short will happen more often than not. As we add more talent, the ability to convert 4th and short should turn into a weapon for us. Take advantage of it.
  14. 13 point dogs? I'll take it...... This is a game, if the Bills win and Allen plays well, can do a lot for his perception around the league and perhaps silence his critics for a while. Go get it, boys!!!
  15. That's the spirit!
  16. Stopped reading after the first line of the 2nd paragraph of Allen's section after he said " Instead, so far, the Bills have witnessed ... a less impressive version of Taylor." Wow..... He hasn't watched a single game.
  17. Nice video. It's a great weapon for him to have, especially in his rookie year to help him get through. However, I think we all want him to take a giant step forward in the passing game. Honestly, he already has taken a pretty big leap as compared to where he was in college, but he still has a ways to go. I will say this, though......if he can become a more consistent passer from the pocket, with his running ability, he could be a top 10 QB in the league in time. This offseason is going to be huge for him and hopefully he can put it together next season. Oh.....and he ran 4.75 at the combine. Whoever was coaching him as to how to run that 40 obviously didn't do a great job. He is faster than that time shows. The guy is pulling away from defensive ends and LBs. The only people I have seen catch him are CBs. Pretty impressive for a guy his size.
  18. The Jags are a pretty pumped up bunch for a group that is down by 3 TDs with 6 minutes left.....
  19. Unfortunately, in my opinion, and a lot of other draft guys as well, there really isn't an impact offensive player that should be drafted in the first half of this draft (1st Round, obviously). So, if the Bills end up in the top 10, they may have no choice but to draft a defensive player. That, or trade down, if possible, because the offensive value just isn't there this year.
  20. Hell of a play. Not the best throw, but should have been a catch. Up and down day for Allen, but some good steps forward.
  21. Well, no matter what happens on 4th down, I like that Allen tried that throw.
  22. Allen should take a couple knees and then go hand the ball to Ramsey.
  23. These refs just throwing flags because of muscle memory now. Insane......
  24. Allen just trucked Jack..... QB with some fire in his balls today. Lovin' it....
  25. Any play but a throw all the way down the field is a waste here. You're punting on 4th down anyway, so throw it all the way down the field and hope for a completion of a pass interference. No other play is acceptable here, especially when you have a QB that can throw the ball 75 yards. Just chuck it and hope for the best.
