23 years ago today- Eric Moulds (1st rd pick)

Body type is similar and Metcalf is a little faster. But until Metcalf does anything in the NFL, that is where the comparisons end. Physically similar, though. I liked Moulds coming out more than Metcalf at the time as well, but with the WR position, you just never know sometimes who is going to be dominant in the NFL. Tough position to figure out. -

The WR I think that, while people consider him really good, could still be one of the most underrated WRs in NFL history. That guy was a BEAST and, in my opinion, would have been a HOFer easily had he had any decent, consistent QB play during his career. He got some on occasion, but, as good as he was, he would have been even better with solid QB play. He was dominant at his position and could take over any game he was in. I know Reed is in the HOF and he was awesome, but I think Moulds was every bit the WR Reed was. Different type of receiver, but he was just as good in my opinion. -
The biggest problem I have with Williams is that I think he will end up being a guard in the NFL. I don't think he can hang with top DEs in this league and, to me, that is a bit concerning. While I do think he has the potential to be a very good guard, I am not sure I want to invest the #9 overall pick on a guard. As for Metcalf......I am not sure what he is going to be in the NFL. He is the true definition of a boom or bust type of player. If he works at his craft, has great coaching helping him, and works on his change of direction and route running, he has the potential to be dominant. If he can't get those things figured out, he'll be just another guy. There is no doubt that his size and speed is very intriguing, though. Personally, I am not sure I take the risk there, but it would be hard to get upset if the Bills do. There is a good starting point with him there with the tools he has. In the end, I want Oliver at 9 and Hakeem Butler with our second pick.

Been following this project all along. Everything that I have read and heard has said that this facility is nothing short of state-of-the-art. We're not just talking about the best facility in the league, but one of the best facilities in the entire country. That's awesome for us and I really think it will go a long way in recruiting talent to come here. We've set the new standard here.

Yup. From day one you could just tell that he comes off as a nice, likable young man, but there is just something about him that says inside, he is a cocky SOB that believes he can do anything better than you. And you know what? That is exactly the kind of persona and attitude I want want my QB to have.
