The Bills are listing Ford as a T in thier press release. That's pretty interesting. They may be looking at Ford as their starting RT and leaving Dawkins and Nsekhe to fight it out for LT with the loser bumping inside to G. Regardless, our line is going to be so much better than last season. Would have been hard not to have been, though.

I wish I knew what the Texans wanted for Clowney. If he could be had for a mid-round pick this year and a pick next year, I look into adding him to our or D-Line. Then come away with a great 2nd round pick tonight and see where things are at after that. I just have no idea what Houston is thinking about for Clowney. We have the money to pay him and it would give us one of the best D-Lines (and defense) in the NFL. Take an offensive player at 40 and let's get to work.

It would take the 3rd rounder (74) as well. Stay at 40, take a guy in Round 3, and then, if you want to, trade back into the 3rd Round.

Stay at 40. We're getting a great player there. The board fell about as well as it could have yesterday for us and there is a ton of great talent still there. So, stay at 40 and make a pick. Then, if you want to try to trade back into the 2nd, fine. But with the draft as deep as it is, it may be worth waiting even 1 more round to trade up. Take a pick at 40 and in round 3 (74). Then move back into round 3 to take another guy. I could be talked into moving back into the 2nd and then using our 4th and 5th rounders to try and get back into the 3rd. Honestly, we only need 4-5 players from this draft. Might as well make them the best prospects possible.

Look, I like Metcalf as well, but I am not trading up from 40 to get him or anyone else. The board fell about as perfectly for the Bills as it could have last night and there are some top talents still sitting there and there will be an awesome option at 40. If that is Metcalf, fine. If he's not there, I'm good with that. In my opinion, Hakeem Butler has a chance to be the best WR in the draft, as does Brown, Metcalf, or any of the other WRs still on the board. There isn't an overwhelming consensus top guy in this draft, so sit tight and let it come to you. And the Bills may decide to go in an entirely different direction as well. They could get a great guard in Risner, a really nice CB in Murphy, or a OT that could have been a top 10 pick in Taylor. The point is, there is so much great talent left that there is no reason to move up. I would rather sit at 40 and take the BPA and then work on getting back into the 2nd round to take another one fepending on how the board is falling and the compensation required to do so. I'm a big fan of Jace Sternberger. He's the TE I want. So, if you can come away with him and one of the other guys I have mentioned, that is a great draft. Can't wait for tonight!
