  1. If Allen isn't going to settle down and protect the ball, McDermott better pull him. He has been awful and this game might already be over.
  2. Their LBs are very good, so get as many as you can off the field. Go 5 wide most of the game. Work mostly in the intermediate and deep parts of the field. Force NE to chase the WRs all over the place and let Josh use his discretion as to when to take off. If he can get 5-10 yards by running because we're pushing routes deeper, let him. If you can force the Pats* into nickle and dime coverage most of the game, that's a good thing. If the Pats* counter and go zone, Beasley will find those soft spots. You want to run the ball occasionally, fine. Motion in a WR and give him the ball. I am a firm believer you have to do something completely unconventional when you have a good opponent. Do something they are not expecting. Also, every possession, take as much time off the clock as possible. Run the play clock down most of the way every snap, shorten the game and limit the amount of possessions the Pats* get on offense. Spreading out the entire field will make things easier on Allen. I trust him enough to know when he can take off, but make no mistake about it, if the Bills are going to win this game, it's because Allen is great. Our running game is not going to get it done. We'll probably need 27+ to win, so swing for the fences and see what happens. On defense, sell out to get pressure up the middle and have guys get their hands up on every play to try and bat as many of those quick passes as possible. Play extremely tight coverage and dare them to beat you deep and hope that the pressure can get there in time. Also, if you have a free run at Brady, take it. Deal with a penalty if necessary, but a good shot or 2 to the ribs will be worth the 15 yards.
  3. Yup. The Colts used it yesterday as well. Everyone is taking it......
  4. Well, the Pats* haven't even allowed a TD this year, so it probably won't come next week. Maybe the Titans the week after? If not then, maybe the Dolphins after the Bye? I don't know. It's very weird that it hasn't happened even in garbage time, but game scripts have a lot to do with it. Just focused on getting the wins right now. Allen will do it eventually this season. Hopefully it happens sooner than later because P;m kind of getting tired of hearing about it.
  5. I wouldn't exactly say that. Allen definitely had great moments, but let's not go overboard here. He made a bunch of bad mistakes today. That said, our O-Line is getting worry-some. They were not good at all today. If they are not better against the Pats* next week, it's going to get ugly fast.
  6. The game should have been over in the first half with the way were were dominating, but we couldn't get out of our own way. But, in the end, they don't ask you how, they ask you how many...... 3-0, BABY!!!!!
  7. And when the Bengals score and win here because you didn't want to fall forward for a yard with you giant qb, what are you saying then?
  8. Should have gone for it there. No question. Show some nuts.
  9. Definitely setting up to be one of those "Billsy" losses. Absolutely dominated the game and stupid mistakes on offense going to cost us.
  10. Comer on offense! Do something!!!! Even 3 more points might put this one away.
  11. We should be up by 30+........ Instead it's 14. Need to be much better on offense in the 2nd half. If we could just stop getting in our own way, we could be really good.
  12. Agreed.....would have declined that.
  13. You just get the feeling if the Bills could put up a couple TDs, the defense will just dominate this game. Offense needs to figure something out. The O-line has not been good so far and Josh is not on his game yet aside from a couple throws. Let's go O!
  14. Denlesks @Denlesks· 5h Patriots owner Robert Kraft said Antonio Brown played well but rubbed him the wrong way He does know what he likes.......
  15. I was giving some thought as to how I would go about defending the Bengals offense today. Without getting too much into detail as to what I came up with, I would do things a bit differently than most probably would. What I would do is have Tre White almost exclusively on Boyd 1 on 1. I know most would probably want him on Ross, but while Tre is a great cover corner, a burner he is not. In fact, there is nobody in our secondary that can run with Ross. So, I put Tre on Boyd counting on Tre to handle him and then play bracket coverage on Ross with safety help over the top. I am not worried about the Bengals offensive line at all. I mean, come on.....Oliver vs Jon Miller? Our DTs will control the middle of that line and they are banged up at tackle as well. I think our front 4 will be able to do very well without having to blitz much at all. Our LBs should be able to handle the TEs. I just think our defense can handle them overall. If we can get to 24 points, we should be just fine.
  16. Today he was a solid B. I'd give him an A for the first half and a C for the 2nd half so we'll call it a B overall. But no matter what letter you give him, the only one that matters is the W.
  17. Giants with the garbage yards...... Bills with the win. 2-0, BABY!!!! Keep it rolling at home next week!
  18. John Wawrow @john_wawrow · 49s #Bills overcome 4-point or more deficits in consecutive weeks to open 2-0. They did that just 4 times in three seasons under Tyrod Taylor.
  19. Hope that is just a cramp.........
  20. Tre is getting abused out here......
  21. Giants have started blitzing and our offense is way out of sync.......
  22. The offense has to take a shot downfield. The Giants are dictating on defense right now.
  23. The offense has not looked real good the last few drives. Have to get something going.
  24. Bills need points on this drive. The Giants are starting to play better on defense and we need to make this a 3 score game.
  25. I think I go in for the kill there and try to get at least a FG at the end of the half, but I understand why they didn't. Might have been different if they weren't getting the ball coming out of halftime, but I still would have tried to get 30 yards there. But oh well..... Come out of the half and get points and try and put this one away.
