After all these defensive draft picks over the last couple years, you can count on 1 hand how many good/passable starters we actually have. Groot Oliver Benford (having a down year) Bishop Walker (up and down as a rookie so far, but shows promise) HM Hairston (not even a starter yet)

Bosa looked like one of those Madden glitches when you're on defense and you think the computer is going to come up and make a tackle but instead chooses to turn around and run down the field after a WR that doesn't have the ball....... Just stop making him have to play in space. He can't do it.

About time they get Cook going in the pass game. We ran that same play against KC in the past with the same result. Cook needs more targets in the pass game.

While the defense has their share of issues, Bishop seems to be one of the solutions. He's a good player if he can stay healthy.

I feel like Josh is going through kind of a reboot here. After not making much happen the last couple weeks, the backyard style he used to play with is making an appearance again and you have to take the good with the bad...... He'll find the the balance, but it is frustrating to watch things look so disjointed in the meantime. Seems like we are almost over-substituting at times. You never know who is on the field. But that's what you get when you don't have a corps group of weapons you can count on play in and play out. I mean, one play it's Palmer and Samuel. The next it's 2 different WRs. Cook comes off the field on important downs all the time. Just out of sync.....

Do you realize how bad your run defense has to be when the lead blocker offensive lineman could have taken the handoff and run the ball in untouched himself instead of the RB?

This defense is is a sieve...... Just terrible. Really going to need a turnover at some point because they can't stop them otherwise.

First half was a mixed bag on offense. That said, we have opened up the downfield passing game and it is opening things up underneath a little bit. Allen has hit some and missed some, but I like where we are. Coleman off the field has been a positive. The only thing I would have done different is have Moore active instead of Samuel. I just think he is a better player. But they probably want to get what they can out of Samuel until he gets hurt again which could happen at any time whether it's in game or not. Anyway, the offensive line has to settle down. Some reps are fine, but there have been too many where it looks like they have no idea who to block and it's rushing Allen's decision making. Look.....if you can't get Cook going on the ground, get him going in the passing game. He has to get the ball. As for the defense, well, they haven't done anything right. So, whatever they did in the first half, I guess do the opposite in the 2nd half. Just a terrible effort.

Hey....we won the first half! Now we just need to win the 2nd half!

Because of that delay of game, and the defensive TO, we are absolutely giving up a TD here.....

And for a penetration style defense, that's a big problem.

This defense just blows chunks......... It's embarrassing how bad they are.

I know this front office hates them and refuses to draft them, but one of these days they will have to realize that sometimes you just need that big tub of goo that is an anchor that you just can't move on the D-Line. Sure, maybe they don't rush the passer or whatever, but man......our guys get driven out of their run fits way too easy. We need a true run stuffer.
