Apparently Hoecht was our entire defense because we have been awful since he's gone out. He went out and the entire game changed. Sickening for us fans, but I just feel bad for the dude himself. He was going to be a household name very soon with the way he has been playing and all of a sudden we have to hope he comes back next season. UGH.

The cart came out for Hoecht and the reports are saying it looks like an Achilles..... Just can't freaking catch a break......

Just awful by McDermott on that drive. I mean, we've seen him give up tons of 3rd and 18s over the years, but that 4th down may be the worst ever. Just terrible defense. No coincidence though that Hoecht goes out and we stink again...... His loss is something we won't be able to come back from if it is for any length of time.

They are going to run picks all over the field and if that's not there, they are going to get a PI from the officials.......

And our D line is now terrible again. We just can't have nice things.

Not sure why Ingram is on the field in that situation to begin with. Personnel choices on both sides of the ball are baffling at times.

OK, offense.....it's on you to put this one away at some point. The defense has given you opportunities, but it's still a 1 score game. That has to get to 2 scores with a 2 TD lead being preferable.

HOECHT!!! That dude has made a serious impact on the defense.

Just terrible. Almost every other team picks that off. It was an arm punt and Bernard and the others were just lost.

They're painful because it's the only way we can get the ball in a WRs hands. They don't get open running routes. It's insane how bad we are at the position.

This offense is so close to being great. The QB is an all time great. We have a very good line. The RBs, especially Cook, are very good. Our TE room is very good. But that's literally all we have. Shakir is a nice slot. Palmer is probably a good 3-4 as well. But, outside of that, we have no WRs that are going to strike any type of fear into anyone. Nobody to count on when a play needs to be made. If we just could invest in that position, I think we could be a great offense. But we're not because Beane has no idea what he is looking at when it comes to WR talent. Come on Beane.....get Allen a real WR that can get open!!!!!

Allen is 15-17 for 176...... Our WRs, outside of Shakir, have 19 of those yards. Adding Shakir's 22 yards to that total doesn't make it any better. The fact that Allen is basically out there doing what he's doing with no WR production at all is absolutely incredible.

Reports on X saying Bishop went up the tunnel early too. It was a massive hit. Hopefully he's OK because he's been a dog out there today.

Honestly a HUGE win for the defense there holding them to 3. Shocked they didn't go for it.

Having a bunch of really good WRs matter....... When is the last time one of our WRs made a play like that? Our TEs can get open down the field at times, but our WRs can't.

Are we sure something was down on the Cook run? I don't mind KC having to burn the TO, though and still scoring, though!
