Did you watch the game?
every throw. I'm not sitting here overrating his day. Both Peterman and AJ showed more against the tougher defense.

Grading Allen on a curve (which we all should; it’s his very first game) I’d give him a B+. Not ready to start, but looks much closer than I’d thought he’d be.
One thing I saw that stuck out: his footwork looked pretty bad in the 3rd quarter, and then seemed to markedly improve in the 4th. I chalk that up to nerves I guess.
i did not see him “constantly under immediate pressure” as others have suggested. Looks like that popular excuse from college is going to carry over into his pro years.
he probably should have went 12/19 (63%, which is good enough) Foster did him no favors, but Lee bailed him out on a pass that should not have been thrown.
all in all, pretty good.
B+ is very generous. he gets a solid C. Missed quite a few throws, but made up for it with some plays with his legs. Arm strength is there but still needs work on the deep connection with the WR's.

what? Both other QB's looked like they are much further ahead in terms of development.
Why can't fans just admit Allen is a huge work in progress. this is AJ's team right now.
-
Tyrod looked good but that is Baker Mayfields team. sure its 1 preseason game but that kid is going to be a star. Good on the Browns for taking a risk and drafting him. He will be their Drew Brees
-
feels good to have 3 QB's that willingly want to push the ball downfield
those 2 yard screens to mike tolbert made me want to throw my tv out the window

Just wanna see him with at least the 2's. talent level out there is p bad.
Allen could excel with bootlegs and rollouts, cut the field in half and let him go to work

Allen? That's ALL on Foster for being too much of a kitty to lay out and make the catch.
If tyrod makes that throw it would be called an overthrow and his fault
stop protecting the rookie.

Allen has A LOT of work to do. that should have been a TD, WR beat his man clean

Why is Lemar Jackson progressing better than Josh Allen
Jackson wasn't even on the Bills QB big board.

thats not my opinion
thats literal fact. Allen is struggling with the 1st team reps and has barely outplayed Peterman.
-
Josh Allen is also struggling, with the 3rd team offense
why are people making fun of other QB's when our own 1st round QB is barely outplaying Nathan Peterman.

This is the biggest takeaway from TC so far for me. The dline and LB's are getting in the backfield so quickly on almost EVERY single play. It looks like the Offensive line isn't even attempting to block anyone. All the good QB throws would have been sacks in real games.
Beane has done a decent job at improved our roster, but his failure to fix the oline is really going to hurt us this year, not only in the run game but with the development of Allen. The worst thing a team can do is put a rookie QB behind a shambles of a line. We are so lucky to have McCoy here because what he's working with is nothing short of amazing, can't remember how many times we failed to open up running holes last season, and that was with Woods and Richie.
Imo Allen should not be starting until the oline shows improvement throughout the season. Don't care how good he might look in camp I'd rather have him learn from the sidelines then go in there and get his head knocked around and risk a major injury.

So you wouldn't care if he weren't involved at all - just cut him because someone accused him of something and there is little to no proof? I'm glad you aren't in charge.
you are going to get a hard dose of reality when he gets cut before TC
Beane and Mcdermott don't put up with this nonsense. the guy is done in Buffalo.

For anyone who is arguing against my point about the consequences of social backlash, Yeezus here is making the point expressly. The man has not been convicted of any crimes. He wasn't even in the same state. I am not going to sit here and say he is not guilty of anything, but the to say a man should lose his job based off of an accusation is what's wrong with America right now.
No
name 1 story where someone falsely got accused and had their life ruined in the last 5 years

The guy should be cut tomorrow morning
i don't care if he wasn't directly involved, he obviously has something to do with this whole mess and thats big enough reason.
-
If this doesn't get resolved by Training camp Bills will have no choice but to cut him
you can't have a guy on the roster with this **** hanging over them, awful look on the franchise
Maybe without Shady we can truly tank next year

Dating since 2016
She has a kid with Shady, also one with Marcus Vick.
Shady is in the process of suing her to get her out of a house he owns. The two were due in court today. 7/10
She accused McCoy of cheating on her with a hooker in 17’
A few things being reported. TMZ also confirmed that an EMT was called to a house on Cordon’s block.
Yup none of this looks good for Shady.
just FYI for everyone. The lady accusing her claims Shady sent people to her house to beat her up, per the Facebook post. Seems like everyone in this thread is confused thinking Shady beat her up directly.

Being all over twitter doesn't mean much other than a lot of people "heard about it"

Sarcasm? Because didn’t the partner of a certain SF linebacker admit to making false allegations like just last month? It does happen, unfortunately.
It's already been confirmed that the girl is in the hospital so the picture is REAL. and that isn't just some random person that posted, it came directly from a friend of theirs
fans are going to get a huge dose of reality when this all ties back to the Bills organization
-
If his steroid use has any ties with the bills staff...Beane, Mcdermott, the entire front office could be wiped clean if they knew about it and hid it.
this is horrible news
-
"if this is true"
of course its !@#$ing true you delusional morons.
Who makes up a story like this? This guy's career is over and if he really was using steroids while playing for us it is a AWFUL look for the Bills organization.

Really? Because you just said that "forcing players to stand for the anthem" will "alienate all the younger fans" and you. But the NBA forces their players to stand for the anthem and doesn't alienate their fans, so really this topic is nonsense.
can you take a step back and look at the bigger picture
the NFL has essentially said the players kneeling has ZERO to do with the racial injustice in this country and more to do with the fact that they are being "unpatriotic"
the league basically has said, we don't give a flying !@#$ about whats going on in this country, we just want you to shut up and play football"

Darnold looked really good. We need to see Allen with at least the #2's because thats what every other rookie QB got to work with.
Tough to tell which rooke is going to pan out. After pre season G1 I would say its Mayfield>Darnold>Allen>Jackson
