  1. Brandon Beane might be one of the most overrated GM's in Bills history. I can't point to a single position on this team that he has upgraded over the last 2 years except for maybe QB.
  2. Remember when I said this defense is overrated ? Yup. You just witnessed it.
  3. I'm basing it off last season and the fact we have a rookie MLB.
  4. I really hope people realize if Allen starts week 1 he is starting for the next 15 games (if healthy) no matter how terrible he starts to play. Because you don't bench your rookie QB and destroy his confidence in a season where nothing matters. We have no pressure to succeed this year, the drought is over and we can finally rebuild.
  5. I think a lot of fans need a reality check when it comes to the defense. People saying we will have a top 10 or even top 5 ranked defense? What exactly are they basing this off of? Our pass rush ranks near dead last in the NFL, and we haven't improved that much over the season. We arguably have one of the worst LB's cores in the NFL. Edmunds will go through a lot of growing pains, and the rest of the LB's wouldn't even start on other top teams in the league. This will hurt our run defense, I can see many teams having huge games on the ground this season due to our LB weakness. People think Star Lotuleli is going to come in and fix our run defense but the guy has been ranked one of the worst DT's against the run in the past few years. Our secondary over achieved last season, and we still ended up ranked middle of the pack. Outside of Hyde and Tre White the depth there is worrying. We are 1 Vonte Davis injury away from being in trouble. We need to hit the brakes on the defense expectations. It's a rebuilding year and the defense is no exception. Most important thing this year is development of our rookies.
  6. Lol if Allen doesn't play well in his first real test vs the Bengals this fanbase is going to get hit with a hard dose of reality. He is already being pressured to start. bills fans are going to ruin another rookie QB
  7. Shows how Allens footwork keeps improving, stuff he got criticized for in college. Also highlights how abysmal our Oline was, literally half the players that don't know the ball was even snapped.
  8. sounds good, lets just hope he doesn't get hurt b/c of our GM ignoring the oline.
  9. Bodene and Newhouse? LMAO the league is laughing at us with those signings. Journeymen Oline players aren't fixing anything we need to invest in the line.
  10. piss off with that that mentality Thats how you destroy a rookies development. God some Bills fans are absolutely delusional. Go support another team if all you care about is winning right now. We are rebuilding.
  11. Don't care how good Josh Allen looked yesterday, don't care how well he plays in the next 2 games. No team in there right mind should risk their future franchise QB behind that mess we have put together as an offensive line 2-3 of those players wouldn't even be in the NFL had it not been for the Bills for some reason still sticking with them. Beane has failed to address the Oline for the 2nd offseason in a row and its showing in preseason (and training camp). Look, we aren't going to win many games this season, lets stop being delusional. This is a rebuild year. It isn't worth risking the future of your team just to win a few games. Let Peterman start and go from there.
  12. Rosen is by far looking like the best rookie (of pre-season). He makes pre snap reads, smart with the football, super accurate. biggest difference is Allen can extend plays better and is a threat on the run.
  13. or he is most likely going to be a flop he is a classic lazy DT with no skill.
  14. Darnold and Rosen also both can hit the short passes Allen has trouble with so it evens out at the end. all of them have their flaws
  15. Still think Peterman starts. Mcd and Beane have said multiple times they aren't entertaining the idea of starting a rookie QB just for the hell of it. Only reason Peterman was #3 today was to asses the other 2 QB's, he is still ahead of Allen in terms of learning the playbook. And I do not want to see another Bills rookie QB lose his confidence by the 3rd or 4th game of his career. If you haven't noticed our starting oline is abysmal and was eaten alive by the Browns starting Defense
  16. What do you mean by this? The other top picked rookies have played just as good tbh Rosen has looked very solid with the Cards and Darnold is picking up the playbook faster than any of them. I think its been fairly even tbh
  17. All the rookie QB's tbh have looked strong. Rosen played fantastic also earlier. He probably has the most talent around him for a rookie.
  18. they did but Browns have barely thrown the Ball.
  19. Allen aside, who looked great, can we talk about our defense? Second game in a row they looked shaky. Secondary depth is very worrying, if Vonte goes down we are so screwed. Also I still can't believe we let Darius go but gave all that money to a journeyman DT. If we were going to dish out big contracts why not bring in a NFL quality Linebacker. We arguably have the worst LB's in the NFL right now.
  20. so annoying when I hear announcers say "Tyrod led the Bills to end their playoff drought" no he didn't. he certianly had a part to play in it, but the defense, Shady, and Andy Dalton had far more to do with us getting into the playoffs If Mccoy doesn't win us that game vs the colts there isn't even talk about playoffs
  21. wtf is the point of putting Allen back in if we keep running the ball let him throw!!
  22. It could be a huge mistake putting Allen with the 2's today If he doesn't play well or has a few terrible throws, the national media will be after him and I don't want another Bills QB's confidence killed. Just let the kid play with the 3's again and learn
  23. Sick and tired of players around the league talking **** about the Bills. As a team we need to show the NFL we aren't pushovers. Someone needs to go out there and set the tempo. Smack Ramsey on the first play, and then on every play after that until he is out of the game. It's like the old saying Chat sh**T, get banged
  24. This is so dumb. I'm a big supporter of Allen right now but he isn't even close to Wentz in terms of accuracy, pocket presence, or on field IQ. The guy made a few deep throws, literally everyone knew he had a big arm before this game.
