The Bills are done, stick a fork in them
HopefulFuture replied to HopefulFuture's topic in The Stadium Wall
I stand duly corrected. I'm a big enough individual to admit when I am wrong, and in the case of both the Bills overall and Josh Allen specifically, I will eat crow with a smile. Good on the team and Allen, for waking up and playing to their potential. -
God bless you, you actually belive the casinos are the real money. The casinos aren't the real money.
-
The league is rigged, by gambling money, I'm no thoroughly convinced of it.
-
Do you wonder if the league is fixed?
HopefulFuture replied to The Red King's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yes, I do believe the league is fixed, by gambling. -
Give it a rest man. Field goal was the right strategy. I now firmly believe big money gamblers decide the outcome of games. What the Bills just did is horseshit, pure, hirseshit.
-
Ph spare me this bull####. They could have easily got in FG range.
-
Someone tell me that wasn't about making money off of gambling? Please, tell me. Why in the ***** wouldn't you take the 3. What in the holy *****...... It has to be odds, money put down and I honestly believe the entire league is corrupt now, all for gambling money. Convince me I'm weong.

Hate to say I told ya'll so..... But I told ya'll so -
Not good enough. This won't change much. The rot is still festering from the offices at 1 Bills Drive on down to the practice field. But, it's a start I guess.

This was not difficult to see coming to be honest. It starts with the GM. The coaching staff, the players are all products of the GM and their staff. Instead of hiring a defensive minded coach, you need an offensive minded coach, especially with a player like Allen. You then build the receiving corps, a strong backfield and a top notch O line Contrary to popular belief, defenses don't win you championships, scoring more than your opponents does. What's happened here in Buffalo was very predictable. -

But it's not "just" McD and Beane. It's the players as well. Specifically Allen, but there are others. These repeated turnovers aren't solely on coaching. I hate to say this, because even I like the guy, but it's like beating a dead horse, Allen, while a good QB, is not the answer. There are just way to many boneheaded plays by him. Again, in my most humbled opinion. -

Just another game as evidence my opinion on the organization is correct. Sad actually, because the team showed some real promise as the Josh Era moved along. But the mistakes by players, the poor play calling and situational awareness from the coaching staff, and the failures to address critical team needs from the GM such as a 2nd true receiver to both give Josh options as well as take some pressure off Diggs are just a few of the issues here. Trade Allen, while you can get a good return for him. I wouldn't even have bothered to draw this thread back to page 1 if I didn't feel fans weren't watching what is happening and denying it. There is 0 reason this offense shouldn't be crushing teams like Denver, like New England, and yet, here we are. -

We've had a lot of losses before I posted my opinion. Especially clutch game losses. I get it, many wouldn't like my opinion, but it's hardly trolling to express my view of the state of the organization. If it were, I would have posted after 13 seconds, or any number of pivotal losses, I didn't. I was patient, waiting to see improvement, it hasn't materialized. Agree, disagree, I shrug my shoulders, because in either case it won't change my view. In order for that to happen, the organizations results will have to change. -

It took 53 years to arrive at this place. 53 years. Are you sure you looked up, read, and fully understand the definition of the word "patience". Asking for a loved one, of course...... -

KC has Super Bowl rings.....the Bills? Not so much. As a matter of fact, the Bills haven't been to a championship game since the early 90's. And there's another brilliant move by the Bills, trading the pick away to move down in the draft to pick up an extra worthless pick, passing on Mahomes. Just straight out dumb, even if it wasn't known at the time what Mahomes would become, which of course is a much better QB than Allen. Sometimes the truth hurts, the pain runs deep. -

I didn't mean forever, nor did I state such. I meant both this season as well as the foreseeable future while this management team, coaching staff and current roster configuration remain. There is nothing to indicate this organization will win a championship with the personnel up and down the hierarchy it has now. As a matter of actual fact, every indication is they will continue to fail. -

I don't have an unreasonable opinion of the state of affairs when it comes to Buffalo sports to be honest. As a New England fan, be it football, baseball, basketball or hockey, the Boston area has experienced the joy of championships. In my lifetime, I've watched Buffalo's pro basketball team leave, and the hockey and football teams fail, in some cases in spectacular fashion, while not ever winning a championship. I gave up having starry eyes for a player long ago. It's all about a championship before I die for me. 53 years, nothing, I could care less if my fellow WNY'ers don't approve, I'm not interested in player Fandom, I'm interested in actual results. "Losers always whine about their best. Winners go home and ***** the prom queen." -

Heard this before, post 94 season. These current Bills, a rough out in the playoffs? They aren't making the playoffs, they'll need a couple seasons to figure out the problem. 4+ seasons, same results, no championship, not even a championship game, moving backwards in the standings, actually becoming mediocre and eventually, back to irrelevant. Division titles, that's the Bills Super Bowl victories if your logic holds. Well good for you, you 4 AFC East Division Super Bowl wins in a row. The rest of the league in the meantime are making moves to improve their real Super Bowl chances. But hey, we'll always have those Division Titles to cuddle up with on those cold, dark seasons done nights. -

Care to elaborate where name calling was done? You entered a pretty straight forward titled thread. You knew it wasn't going to be a positive read, yet, like a good little hypocrite, you entered the thread to attempt to thump on someone's opinion by what......that's right, being a Nancy. Nice meeting you. -

I'm never opposed to trying different approaches. The one we are on now is a failure. -

As a Buffalo Sports fan in general, we tend to live our sports fan lives ever reaching for that "Hopeful Future". Championships elude this regions fan base, the current condition of the Bills is no different, invites to the dance but stumbles in the parking lot after getting out of the car due to 2 left feet. It is what it is what it is. -

We haven't played for a championship once in this current configuration for this organization. It's time to move on imho. -

Allen hasn't once been crowned MVP, so no, his play is not MVP caliber in point of fact. We were never in the game, same with the jets and Patriots. These are division opponents/conference opponents, the lack of execution, the turnovers, many by Josh himself, the keeping the D on the field an abnormal amount of time given this offenses "supposed" abilities all lead to 1 conclusion. This team, from management decisions, coaching decisions on down ro execution on the field by the offensive side players, is a complete failure. And Josh is a large part of that imho.
