  1. I guess I'm falling behind here - what did Trump say about Ford last night?
  2. Ah, I forgot that I had gout back in May for the first time. It hurt like hell, but it only lasted a couple of days. My fear is that it is tied in with kidney stones. I fear them!
  3. You really are way behind here, aren't you. Why make it up? For political purposes. For the $750K in her gofundme account. I'm sure there are other reasons. Why doubt her? Because of not only the above, but also nobody has corroborated it, and it's 36 years ago, and she wasn't even sure of that. He wasn't in college, but way to keep up - he was 17 so don't make it like he was 20 with a 15 year old (if it happened). 17 year old boys and 15 year old girls are or were super common back then (I'm about the same age)
  4. This is today's news: The executive committee meeting was the last hurdle before the final vote for NHL Seattle, the group bidding for an expansion team. On Sept. 24, the Seattle City Council unanimously approved a $700 million renovation of KeyArena, the current home of the WNBA's Seattle Storm and the former one of the NBA's Seattle SuperSonics, who relocated to Oklahoma City to become the Thunder in 2008. https://sports.yahoo.com/nhl-seattle-expansion-moves-closer-011533093.html It really looks to me like they are going like 85%, whereas college players' body language is 100%
  5. So funny - I had the worst case of hemorrhoids my surgeon said he ever saw so he asked me that same question! I'm like Yeah, I'm in all this pain that I got this horrible surgery and that's what I would do?!?
  6. I think they're doing a huge renovation on the Key Bank Center or whatever it's called.
  7. Back when I was having all the hemmroid issues, the doctor literally owned the radiology place, so he kept sending me for tests. Mainly sigmoidoscopies - which is a colonoscopy that is 30 inches instead of 60. It hurt like hell because they gave no meds. I'm like WTF - you think 30 inches isn't going to hurt, but 60 will?!?
  8. From wiki: Because the Braves only had third choice of dates (behind the Sabres and Canisius College) at the auditorium, from 1971–75, the Braves were forced to play a total of 16 home games at Maple Leaf Gardens in Toronto; in addition to alleviating the auditorium's scheduling issues, the Braves also played internationally in the hopes of expanding their fan base beyond Western New York and into the Greater Toronto Area[5] (a similar strategy was employed by the National Football League (NFL)'s Buffalo Bills from 2008 until 2013).[6]
  9. We had the best recruiting class I can ever remember. And, now we got a commit from an ESPN 4 star recruit for 2019. The best part of the linked article is that the A-10 is not considered a mid-major!
  10. I remember I used to like beer. In fact, I still like beer.
  11. And, the Braves used to play games in Toronto, too.
  12. I have an amputated thumb from an industrial accident, and have had dislocated kneecaps and several broken bones. Nothing even comes close to the pain of my hemorrhoidectomy. 6 weeks of excruciating pain.
  13. He actually got traded to the Knicks before the crazy trade of franchises............Unfortunately, they didn't have full houses - except for the really big games.
  14. Has she ever put a timeframe on how long this "assault" went on for? I don't think serious rapists/assaulters are actually laughing and falling all over themselves when doing said rape/assault. This is great. I'm pretty sure beer is, too.
  15. Why not Swetnick? I thought we were supposed to believe all survivors?
  16. He was drunk on Thursday afternoon?.......................I had been hearing that people who knew him 35 years ago said he was mild mannered until he drank..............Can't be both. Unless he was drunk Thursday.
  17. Do you like the 2nd and 14 call of a bomb? Do you not think, given all the circumstances, that getting some positive yardage was paramount?
  18. An average of 5 each time. Not guaranteed, but likely and much more likely than throwing a bomb and then facing 3rd and 14. McSorley averaged 7 yards per carry.
  19. And, it would have had 4000 editorials about how he must be guilty if he wasn't screaming his innocence from the rooftops.
  20. I seem to be the only person who thought the worse play call was on 2nd and 14. They only needed a field goal, yet they threw a low percentage bomb. Now, their backs are against the wall at 3rd and 14. They were in 4 down territory. Pick up 5 yards a pop and you got your first down.
  21. I saw that 75% of suicides are male and asked How can this be - when all I've been hearing for the last year or two is how horrible it is to be a woman?
  22. Erik Brady is from Buffalo, and I used to like him for getting a lot of Bills and other Buffalo stuff published in USA Today.
  23. I gotta say that I think this is really clever and funny:
