    He only did a few times in this Kim Goldman interview, but with Joe Namath and other interviews I've listened to in the last few years, he drives me nuts, and I imagine the guest, when he keeps cutting them off in mid sentence to ask something totally different.

    Last year, they kept talking about how there are going to be two competing Woodstock 50s this year. The one at the original site, now Bethel Woods, being the other one. Why have I heard nothing about that one?!?

    I know what you're saying. I always thought it was funny that soccer was "the fastest growing sport in the country" ever since I was born!...........................But, people in their 20s seem to really be into it this time.

    I haven't checked all the names in the thread but I doubt anybody has Dudley Meredith. He actually lived on my street when he played for the Bills.     I think you've nailed it here. The WaPo article seems to factor in all the revenue streams - if it's the same article I read a few days ago.................Anybody saying it's only about the World Cup or anybody just saying they're more popular etc. are taking a side without taking all the factors into it.
