I used to think she was overrated when she first became known, when she was going out with Brad Pitt. But, she has really aged well, and has one of the best pairs of legs ever:

I was actually going to say except for Miracle, and a few others, but I decided to just make the blanket statement, because MOST sports movies are really bad, IMO. Besides Miracle, League of their Own was awesome (and I hadn't thought of that). I also love Bull Durham and Field of Dreams. Major League was pretty good, too.........Forgot about a few boxing ones - I haven't seen Rocky since 1977 or whenever it was, and just have the memory of the sequels sucking. But, Cinderella Man and The Fighter both were excellent. Any Given Sunday is horrible for whoever mentioned that, and that's the kind of crap I think of when I think of sports movies.

Sports movies are an embarrassment to sports and movies.

Brad was definitely the best talk radio in town. I knew Murph pre-tapes some segments. But, I was wondering - he's there for the whole thing, isn't he? Or else how do they do the call ins? What do you mean by :b) operate under the same rules the rest of their programming, including Hockey Hotline does on a daily basis.

I kind of want to put No Country for Old Men on the overrated list because of the ending. But, the first 95% of the movie was great.

That and no more rookie OTAs. Just stupid.

I was reading this weekend that this year's draft actually was on the first day of May sweeps, so that doesn't seem to be the reason. I never understood the sweeps anyway. Why do the advertisers set their rates with the sweeps numbers, when that is when the networks put on their best/most watched stuff. Like I remember Barbara Walters interviewing Monica Lewinski and they made sure it was during sweeps. So, why would that set the rate for something later that isn't a bombshell interview?

Being Jewish might influence his choice of pork, as well. So, if you're blaming Marv for picking the DBs of the early 90s, you are also giving him credit for picking Conlon, Thurman, etc. acquiring Biscuit, etc.

So, these are all good movies to go to the drive in and fall asleep to?

Are you kidding me? 47 yards is like 2003 yards, 714 home runs, 51-3, 35-3. Fans have these numbers ingrained in their DNA.

Isn't it agreed that Sussudio is pretty much the worst crap ever put on a recording? BTW, my vote for overrated is GNR..............And, the thing is probably my all time favorite song is Sweet Child O Mine...........But, everything else I have tried to get into and just can't. None of it has the melody of Sweet Child. Just repetitive pounding.

Any Bills fan who doesn't know how long Norwood's attempt was from doesn't have much credibility...................I think if you polled people around the country, they would think it was a 35-40 yarder, because the portrayal of Norwood over the years has been that he was such a goat.

I do think that album was the turning point for Genesis. It is not a craze when it's 40 years of sustained excellence!!
