    Awesome! My next door neighbor was there on D Day 1944. He was part of the planning committee for the 50th anniversary ceremonies. So, he was there in 1993 making plans, etc...........Then his wife had a stroke in early 1994 and he couldn't go.............He was genuinely pissed on 6/6/94 - he's watching the stuff all day, but fuming that he wasn't there!

    No, you're not even having an opinion - it's just if the band is popular, then you're going to say they are overrated.

    But, if you google pics of any medical condition, they look really nasty. I googled pics of some things that I've had and been like Whoa - how'd I live through that! And, I'm not 1/10th as tough as Jimbo.

    Indeed. I was just thinking about his surgery being today. Praying and hoping for the best!

    That might be a positive today. These huge tracks can't come close to selling out anymore..........Bristol used to be such a hard ticket to get for the March race. You had to win a lottery and hope people died basically............Now they can't even sell out the much more popular August night race. Supply and demand might be in favor for a 65K track.

    Really. I wouldn't even know that was Page, it's such a weird picture of him...........He was a goofy looking guy to begin with, so I'd say he aged well.

    Queen was so far off the radar in the US by this point, that it seemed like hearing Freddie Mercury died was a blast from the past. Not something that was very relevant.

    The thing about Debbie Harry was that she was probably 35 years old or older in the first picture, so she aged well. It's not like she became super famous at 20 years old.
