  1. This was probably happening from 41-44, right?............Thanks to your grandfather and great uncle, my father had an easier time once he got to France with Patton's Third Army.
  2. Yeah, it was smoke and mirrors - and seemed like mystical, magical. It seemed like it was God's Plan - until Satan Belichick came along in both cases!
  3. I agree with everything you said. It was so crazy that he kept winning that way. It was like 1998 was for us with Flutie. (Oh, except he beat Pitt at home, because despite being something like 8-8, they were division champs)
  4. Did TJ Yates win a Heisman and national championship? Wait - who is TJ Yates? I might have just embarrassed myself..........Anyway, I think that has something to do with the hype! I myself hate that I have to root against him another year!
  5. I'm thinking land shark. They really go after the blood!
  6. Tell me more.
  7. Wasn't the pig originally supposed to be a capitalist pig?.................He probably put Bush on the pig to distract from the fact that the guy flying the capitalist pig was charging those in the front rows up to $3000 a ticket.
  8. If they're not for you, then how does one of those stupid sleeves make her hotter??
  9. If you want to believe this guy would have died if not for Malkovich, go right ahead............I myself choose not to believe that an 8 stitch cut is going to kill me if not for instant help.
  10. It wasn't. Because it was the usual "just an eighth of an inch more and this could have been...." It took 300 stitches for Malarchuk.
  11. I thought about you when I saw this great tweet and article by The Onion earlier today: The Onion ‏@TheOnion 4h Nancy Sullivan pulled an all-nighter and didn’t tell anyone | More Unsung Heroes: http://onion.com/XNIPhy
  12. The guy got 8 stitches. Claiming that John M. saved his life is being rather melodramatic.
  13. For those who are about to say they are expressing themselves, I'd like to know what is being expressed. I've been able to make out about three tattoos in my life - some guy had a standing buffalo, like the 60s Bills helmets, another guy had the interlocking NY of the Yankees, and David West of the Pacers has the big X symbol of his alma mater, Xavier University, on his shoulder area. Those times I've said Cool. Can anybody tell me what just one tattoo that Lebron or Birdman has is?
  14. Stupidest. Fad. Ever. It looks stupid now, you don't even have to wait until they get old.
  15. I'm actually not a big fan. I like him OK and saw him around '82 at the Aud, but it wasn't a very good concert for my tastes. Probably a different story if I saw him with Crazy Horse. I love the song Powderfinger and there are a lot of his songs that I like. Ohio being one of them.
  16. Well he is still Neil Young.
  17. I'm not calling anybody until my 4 hours are up. I'm only at 3 and a half right now.
  18. Yeah, he looks great.
  19. I'm drinking the Drank. I was really psyched when JaMarcus Russell lost 200 pounds and we signed him. Then I had to check myself and say OK, maybe we'll just get to the AFC Championship Game this year. Sizzurp!
  20. That was a great song. Much better than what I think was his first solo single - I'm in the mood for a melody or whatever it was.
  21. Only in NASCAR would one of the big mover and shakers be named Humpy Wheeler.
  22. Very true! I'm glad Jimbo has a high pain threshold.
  23. I thought they had a suicide note?
