Thanks. I looked and saw this interview, but didn't think it would have had it in here. Hard to tell there if he did it on purpose. I have a photographic memory, and I know I know why I remember my aunt watching the game with us (I was 6 years old - my first year knowing the game and being obsessed). Turns out when I was looking this up, it was a Thanksgiving game. I figured it was the last game of the year, because I remember us all being Oh, no - no OJ! It was either the 3rd last or 2nd last. The newspaper account I read yesterday said we were 1-11-1, which means that we only had one game left. But, it said Oakland had two left and were 10-2. I don't think they had byes back then?

The craziest lawsuit like this, IMO, was when the manager or CCR ended up with their songrights - pissing off Fogerty to no end. He wrote the song Vandtz can't dance on Centerfield about him, and refused to play their songs for years. (Luckily, he'll be playing them when I see him in August). Well, the manager then sued Fogerty for his solo stuff sounding too much like the songs he owned - the ones that Fogerty wrote for CCR! Hahaha

His grandfather is Dick MacPherson. He is beloved in Syracuse. After a rough start, he turned around the team in 1987, and they had a stretch of good football under him and Paul P. He was exactly that - rah rah - jumping around, etc. I met him once and he was a great guy. The rah rah thing didn't really play well when he unexpectedly went from SU to the Patriots............But, I went to the game in Foxboro in 1991 when we only lost 2 games that counted and that was one of them. And, they sucked...........And, it was the one time that I hated him for jumping for joy as they're leaving the field! Haha He always seemed like a smallish guy. It's odd to me that his grandson is a huge lineman.

This really sounds good to me. I was just driving tonight on Route 5. I don't know how i've never got in an accident there, because I always have to look out at the lake. To me, it's so cool looking when you're around Hamburg Beach, etc. and can see the city, the windmills, etc...........A new stadium where the steel plant used to be would look so great there. And, this guy is right. For 100 years or more, we've been blocked out of two miles of prime waterfront by the steel plant. This really would be a game changer.
