How about the fact that they end the World Cup (first soccer I ever watched was 82 final and couldn't believe what I'm seeing) on those very penalty kicks. If you ever watch a high school game, you gotta love that the clock runs while the ball is in the parking lot.......Even with these guys, it runs while the goal scorer runs as far away as possible and they all run after him, finally catch him, jump on him, and celebrate for minutes. Can you imagine any of the above mentioned things (by both of us) in any real American sport? It's insane.

I have been really interested in the NBA way more since Lebron went to Miami. (I'm way more into college hoops) All I care about is that they lose.............And the thing that makes me nervous is they have been written off so many times in the last four years, and they make people look foolish then...............It seems like it's not possible this time, but I won't believe it until the Spurs win #4!

There's stupid and then there's stupid! Thank you! Yes, they did it before the players came out in 2007 during the playoffs. They kept adding scenes to the video from previous games in the playoffs, etc.............I'm pretty sure they ended up putting it on TV as well as the scoreboard. I thought I had my posters mixed up! Out of towner who wants to keep the team in town? I hope...

They played this before the players came on the ice, and then the players came on the ice to Street Fighting Man. Does that make it better for you?

It was way worse in the mid 80s. Anybody who remembers the Jets MNF game in 83, the Dolphins MNF in 84, the Patriots game in 86 (I saw an entire section in the tunnel end zone get thrown out!) can attest to this. It was mayhem.
