  1. Nice. I was talking to a guy a couple of years ago - my friend's boss - who played hoops at Hamilton. He said it was a lot of fun. Those games on the courts of NYC must have been intense!
  2. And, usually these things happen on days that "started out like any other day." Watch out for those days!
  3. Wow - cool. Love the Bing story!...........Where'd your Dad play college?...........How old were they when they were going down to NYC to get into pickup games?
  4. I think this is the street that Jim Kelly used to live on. Sounds like the family was kind of a mess, but the strangest part is his mug shot. Besides the whack idea of shaving your head to look like your 70 year old dad, and the meth addict type marks on his face, he's smiling like he couldn't be happier: http://www.buffalonews.com/city-region/orchard-park/stop-at-rainbow-bridge-leads-police-to-scene-of-homicide-20140708
  5. Did your Dad play in the NBA? What's your connection to Riley?
  6. He's meeting with Riley tomorrow in Vegas. Hopefully, to say good bye!
  7. That's the way I always understood it. I don't think he got the message:
  8. Ditto!
  9. Yeah, I don't think so either. I just don't like that they believe he'll be there.
  10. Where did Pittsburgh hide them? I've never seen one there.
  11. Which makes sense!
  12. Did he pronounce it TOL-i-ver, which somehow this guy did?
  13. I don't like this tweet (except for the picture of Butler Gym #bonas): Adrian Wojnarowski @WojYahooNBA · 50m No guarantees made, but Danny Granger/Josh McRoberts committed to Heat w/ strong belief LeBron James will be a teammate, sources tell Yahoo.
  14. It's not like he became incredibly stupid in a few year's time.
  15. Exactly - he was hailed as pretty much a genius after the lockout...........Everybody forgets his trades around '99 that were amazing, as well.
  16. You're exactly right about everything here. If it wasn't for the plant, and others like it, most of us wouldn't be on this board. I know my ancestors came here for the jobs.
  17. I've seen tweets about not wanting Pegula because of the Sabres situation. (Of course, they are outnumbered 100 to 1). "He doesn't understand hockey." Everybody always wants an owner who is willing to spend, and gets out of the way of hockey or football decisions...........We have the perfect one, and yet people give him crap. :wallbash:
  18. I read that Kevin Love is still in play. Probably Wiggins for Love.
  19. U.S. TV ratings for the international soccer tournament have collapsed like a writhing midfielder after slight contact with an opponent — with roughly 10 million viewers watching the four quarterfinal games over the weekend. http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/soccer/americans-stopped-watching-world-cup-u-s-team-eliminated-article-1.1857138
  20. It definitely would. It would be unlike anything I can think of................People root for the underdog (Cleveland) - not the glamor city of Miami. I saw a tweet yesterday that said it would be great if he announced it by saying "I'm taking my talents to Edgewater Beach"
  21. His talent as a passer was only limited by his knees.
  22. That's the movie that is going to come out. Based on the book, obviously.
  23. I root for all things Cleveland, when not in conflict with Buffalo.................Somebody has got to break this Lake Erie jinx! (I feel we are kindred spirits with them)
