  1. Hahaha - my concern is that it takes Buffalo with it! I wonder why they couldn't do a contract that just says he gets the max contract every year. Heck, it worked for Will Wilford
  2. I know Poojer is being sarcastic and I know the deal. But, what if circumstances change - he now has that option to opt out in a year, two years.
  3. I doubt it. I think he was just an ahole.
  4. Very interesting info
  5. And, so many lasted a season or so. Almost all of them are horrible! Frasier was so great. To me, it was better than Cheers, and I liked Cheers a lot. I didn't know those writers are the ones doing Modern Family!
  6. As a fan, I know what you're saying. I remember being mad at Ron Jaworski for kicking our butts in 1981 - haha................But, obviously it's different to be the athlete. And, BTW, Darryl Johnston wasn't even a Bills fan growing up. He was a Dolphins fan - which really ticked me off!
  7. Here's a better picture of the young one. This story was a few weeks ago:
  8. Awesome! What a relief that must be!
  9. I'm going with sarcasm. And, pretty good sarcasm at that.
  10. That's your uncle? That was a cool picture!
  11. That is the stupidest thing - and makes me laugh every time!
  12. Beavis and Butthead
  13. I don't know how anybody who is a fan of Buffalo and the Bills could not love that letter so much. I always root for Cleveland, esp. the Indians and Cavs, because I feel like they are our sister city. Sharing the same lake - same history. Everything. This is so awesome: I want kids in Northeast Ohio, like the hundreds of Akron third-graders I sponsor through my foundation, to realize that there’s no better place to grow up. Maybe some of them will come home after college and start a family or open a business. That would make me smile. Our community, which has struggled so much, needs all the talent it can get. In Northeast Ohio, nothing is given. Everything is earned. You work for what you have. I’m ready to accept the challenge. I’m coming home.
  14. Jeez - reading this thread tells me two things: almost every spinoff sucked. And, a lot of people don't get the concept of a spinoff. The OP had it right - Frasier was the best.
  15. Then Peyton Manning's neck has to be in 2nd place. Thanks. Have you seen any story on who knew what when? I'd love to see how they kept this a secret while getting it ready to go on si.com.
  16. I haven't had the time to catch up on everything. How did this whole thing go down? I see I had an email from the Washington Post at about 12:30 and it said the announcement was in SI magazine. Did they hold off the magazine and it's going to come out with him on the cover? I assume it first broke on si.com?
  17. Hahaha - LeBron decision is about two hours old, so now we're onto Durant in two years!
  18. I agree 100%. The whole thing is perfect!
  19. That video is amazing. He's definitely back to being Jim Kelly. I definitely did not think he'd be throwing passes at his camp. He was really holding court with a lot of media there. This video shows it from a different angle and has a good article with it: http://www.buffalonews.com/columns/bucky-gleason/kelly-at-his-best-battling-cancer-20140710
  20. Where is a good Cav forum? I tried finding one last night. As for your first paragraph, that's exactly what I was thinking..........Somebody did say on the radio that if he didn't want to crush Cleveland fans, he knows how to leak info so the media knows he's not going there. Not sure what to think on that.
  21. A month or so ago, I figured no way is going to be at his football camp - or maybe he'll be there for a quick visit in a wheelchair: Bucky Gleason @TBNbucky · 4h Jim Kelly looks good, strong and clearly in control at his football camp. He's buzzing around and full of energy. Good to see. Bucky Gleason @TBNbucky · 4h Kelly has enough energy to get involved while going station to station. He's official QB, as you might expect, for kids 8-10 years old. Bucky Gleason @TBNbucky · 4h Take away the obvious physical signs common among cancer patients and he looks like the JK from years ago. He's out there acting like a kid.
  22. Wow - I was thinking he was past his playing days. That must have really been awesome to play with him when he was still that good. I was glad the meeting only lasted an hour. I have the feeling he'll announce what he's doing Thursday.
  23. I'd love to see those pictures! That's funny about Cousy. I've played with a couple of oldtimers like that - grizzled football and basketball coaches who had played in college. I was in 8th grade and they're yelling at me like that! How old was Cousy at the time? I've seen this all over twitter, but thinking no way can that be his neighborhood, esp. that first picture, could it?
