It would seem to me that having the pain gone, there is a really good chance that the cancer would be gone...........I wouldn't think chemo and radiation would have any pain relieving properties, except to get rid of the cause of the pain?

Definitely good news. The thing that I'm wondering is towards the beginning, the plan was to do the radiation and chemo and then operate, if that goes well. Does anybody know if that's still the plan or has that changed?

I should say that my thinking is in terms of the NFL and all their pushing for a new stadium. They are the ones who should care more about how it looks on TV.

That's exactly it. They aren't near it now, but they are playing with fire if they want to really boost prices by building a new stadium.

I saw them say that even during the World Series people were doing that! Hahaha What a joke...............But, now it's not just those seats. The place is half empty all over.

I get your point, but I think the league has to tread carefully. After decades of there never seeming to be a breaking point in rising ticket prices, etc., almost all sports have now hit it. The league really makes it's money on TV. They know their TV product is so good now that people are staying home (look at this board - where only a surprisingly small % actually go to the games). You turn on a Yankee game now and you feel like why am I watching this, this is small time with all these empty seats............The NFL needs people in the stands to make the TV product good. Squeezing out every last dollar at the stadium will eventually screw up their total product.

My experience was always like Security said. I was either flat out stoned or nothing. There was never a little stoned for me.

I think this is a risky time to try that. Not sure if this market can support it right now. Hopefully, the way things are going, it can in the future. But, teams all around the country are getting hurt by their own greed. Old Yankee Stadium was raucous. New Yankee Stadium is a morgue. Same with Citi Field..........The Jets have so much trouble selling their tickets. Even college football teams, which are usually supported by rabid fans, are having way less demand, due to their greedy ticket pricing. They see stats on the secondary market and think they charge a whole stadium what a small segment of ticket buyers are willing to pay.

Wow, now I'm nervous. I can't imagine how the Kellys are.......Actually, thinking about it - I can. When I was in high school, my mother had ovarian cancer, was operated on, and then something like 9 months or a year later, they did an exploratory surgery to see if it and the radiation worked. (And, if there is cancer, then opening her was going to make it spread like wildfire). I hope Jim gets the same answer my mom did - she lived another 32 years!

I wish Marrone would do one of these "fire the OC during the preseason" moves that's happened a few times in recent years. Either that, or IMO, he will be fired after the season.
