Wow. I had thought he was supposed to be more than just a running QB. I thought he was really smart, a leader, charismatic, and figured he had a great arm. I know at one point pretty deep into his Heisman season - he had more touchdowns than incompletions! And, I believe no INTs at that point. That is when I first heard about him - when he was putting up crazy passing numbers.

That's what I was thinking. Such an emotional year. DT and Jimbo know they wouldn't get this love in most other places........And, I really think the Bills played their hearts out Monday night for us, after that insane week.

Did he have all these problems his rookie year? I didn't see much of him, so I don't know if his success was due all to his incredible speed, which is now diminished. I had thought he was the whole QB package.

We got the ball to the 30." - No, Jimbo, the 25 maybe and I'd say you did your job, on that field, almost a quarter century ago (when kickers were not as good as today). Actually, I'd dump on Graham for the things you mention. Whenever I read one of his human interest stories (mostly before he went back to sports), I always have more questions at the end than at the beginning. I'd like these details. Then, I'll happily give to the go fund me.

This would be perfect. I've been to a number of games at the Carrier Dome and can't stand it. Outdoor football is sooooo much better. But, the problem is there are a bunch of literal fair weather fans (mostly women, I believe) who will come to Sept and Oct games, but not late Nov and Dec. So it sucks but I think we need to have a dome. I hate it, though!

Yup, that's where I was coming from. And, I honestly wanted to know if this is the way announcers who have declared they are not going to use Redskins are now saying it. I'm sure Gumbel didn't do it for those 3 years that nobody knew he wasn't saying Redskins. I looked it up yesterday, and I couldn't find out what he did use, but the one thing he said is "I'm not a guy who feels like I need to have a press conference to say that I'm not going to say that name." I bet he just said Washington and nobody ever noticed. I like the Captain, and was trying not to get personal. That's why I was referring more to announcers. WTF - I just got Rick rolled!
