Yeah, the 8 feet were mostly gone by the end of November. Some piles were so big they never melted. But, we've had I believe a record amount of days with a snowpack. It's 2-3 feet pretty much everywhere and the sides of the roads are 5 feet. It snowed tonight, so their tracks were easy to see in the powder.

Not the ones by my house. I see them all the time. I didn't see them tonight, but I saw their fresh tracks, so they had just been there.

For some reason, I think John Murphy is preempting Rome today at noon. He's at the combine, but that doesn't seem big enough, like a breaking story, like you said. Hahaha - Schoop and Bulldog attending industry conferences. Yeah, they are so dedicated to their craft! I hated Rome when I first heard him, then became a huge fan after I got used to him. My friends and I would talk about the show all the time. We even went to the tour stop here. And, now I'm back to not hating him so much - but hating the show. He talks more about what he's going to talk about instead of actually just talking about it! I'm pretty sure he never gets to half of what he says he's going to get to - because every time I turn it on he's still talking about the thing he was an hour ago! The callers and emailers used to be way better 10+ years ago.

I'll tell you what adds character. Getting 8 feet of snow for your first snowfall of the year - in mid November.......After that, even this incredible run of snow and cold seems manageable.

What is there to clear up? The fact that it doesn't matter if Eichel goes back for another year. He would still have his rights until he graduates. I could care less about Eruzione. I had read a little while back "most likely Eichel will be coming out" which made me think holy crap - what if he doesn't...........But, as long as Alaska Darin is right, then it doesn't matter. I'm fine with getting him in two years. Either Bucky doesn't know the rules (or Darin is wrong) or Bucky is being a total dick: "I’m crossing my fingers that maybe he comes back from one more year but the kid is a special talent.” Of course, Sabres fans in Buffalo recoil in horror at that thought. They’re banking on Eichel becoming the latest American sensation, joining the likes of Patrick Kane and Mike Modano in a line that traces back to that fortnight in Lake Placid. That is said as if he goes back one year, we don't get him. Not that we have to wait a year for him to join the likes of Kane and Modano. I'm not exactly recoiling in horror at that thought.

I just wish there was competition on the postgame. It was better when 97 Rock carried the games, and GR had their own postgame, as well..............So, between the two, you could usually find something worth listening to.

Bucky Gleason interviewed Mike Eruzione about a Miracle reunion coming up. Mike works for BU now, and talked about Eichel. The alarming part is he said he's crossing his fingers that Eichel will still one more year. The play that started Trent's downfall was when he tried to reach over the pile with the ball to get a first and the Dolphin just said Thank you very much - and took the ball right out of his hands. Everything he did before that seemed to be very smart.

I don't get why everybody is fawning over this kid. Why would a girl care if she got a valentine when every other girl got a valentine, too, from the same kid.

Yeah, I happened to see about 10 minutes of that this fall and that was definitely the deal there.
