Perrault was great. I loved him.............But, am I the only one who thought he could have been even greater. I think he had the most talent in the league at center, but I don't think he ever made first team all star. Maybe as a kid, I was looking for more goals from him. But, I think he could have been in the Orr, Gretzky, Lemieux etc. category. I know he smoked cigarettes (as did Lafleur and others) between periods, etc. And, not sure what else he could have done. But, I always felt he was going to burst onto that top level, but he never did. And, he got them all spelled right - impressive!

I've been talking about the way things have been not. Not what they might do - and I don't think they'll eliminate two games. I did really think they were going to get the 18 regular/2 preseason thing going, but not now with all the injury concerns. They won't eliminate the preseason games, because they are a cash cow. Season ticket holders pay full price for garbage and the players basically get paid a stipend. Not their regular salary. It's a total ripoff.

Yet, when Toronto would get the preseason game, we would pay less. As for your first sentence, they have charged for the preseason games for at least 30 years - the amount of time we've had season tickets. I'm sure before that, as well. And, I do already divide by 8 to get my real cost per ticket. Doesn't mean it would be less if they didn't play the preseason (see Toronto years)
