I think if they're not drafted by the time they are a senior, they become UDFAs. The Sabres signed that defensemen from Cali after the Frozen Four two years ago, but i don't know what happened to him.............Happens every year now.

Here's the Buffalo News article. I'm baffled by the last sentence "Evans will have to sit out the 2015-2016 school year if he decides to transfer, which would appear to be the likely scenario." I thought this was what this was all about? Can I school (UB) outright block a kid from going somewhere else (ASU, VCU)? I thought this was all about the one year of having to sit out.
