Is every company cheaping out on the headsets they are buying their reps? Everybody I talk to is muffled. I ask are they on a headset. Yes, is this better? Yeah.........And, then within a minute it's muffled again.........and, most of the time they claim the headset is wired, not wireless, which I figured was the problem. I know my hearing sucks from genetics and too many years of listening to music and podcasts through headsets while trying to be louder than traffic, etc..............But are other people having this problem?

I'm usually rooting FOR somebody - and you end up getting frustrated that way, because they probably have a 1 in 5 chance of winning if it's a tight leaderboard. Now the only thing I'm rooting for is for Dustin Johnson to lose. I'm hoping my theory stays true!

I just read this one. It's very good........I'm thinking about stories like when he first left the sports section. It was an interesting long form story about this mother and son in the Falls who were hoarders and IIRC were found dead after some period of time.....And, had millions of dollars, but living in total squalor. I kept thinking throughout the whole story - when is he going to say how they got all this money. He never did. I'm like WTF - why did I read this whole long thing. There were questions I had with the Talley story. It seemed like whatever it was about the pension plan - that if you didn't get it in by a certain date, you got a lot less money. It was very weird and not explained at all............It made no sense why there would be such a clause and it was never addressed. He is a total dick on twitter. I remember him mocking out the Republican convention. I said something to him, and he says You don't know anything about my religion and politics. Uh yeah I do - you just just put it out there...........And, it's been all left wing after that, but I'm sure he'd maintain the same thing. There are way worse examples of how he treats people, and then mocks people out about their number of followers. Like he'd have a ton of followers if he wasn't in the media covering the Bills. I do have to say that he was good when he would be on for an hour with Brad Riter back in the WECK days.

That is exactly what I figured.

I don't watch Fox News or any cable news. The other board I frequent is a Springsteen board. Of course, they all hate Fox News. And, there's post after post about this shooting, going on and on about how Fox News said this was an attack on Christianity. For those who do watch, was this one person saying this? The whole network wall to wall? Or where in between?...........It's so odd that all these Fox News haters watch it so much that this is what enrages them the most about this shooting.

I think you have to read between the lines..

I don't think he's phenomenal. He likes doing these long form stories, and I think he's pretty good at them. I haven't read this one yet - but I almost always come away with a bunch of questions which I think he should have explained. People don't like him because of the way he acted here, and mostly on twitter. Not because of his writing for the News, which is good.

Yeah, I'm now 3 for 3 in going to Game 6s. Stanley Cup (no goal) in 1999, this one, and the only one with the home team and my team winning - Yankees World Series in 2009 (although that one I would have seen either way - since we also had tickets for game 7). It really is cool to see the championship won. The prices of the tickets for this game were a rollercoaster. Whenever it looked like this might be a clincher for the Cavs - they skyrocketed. And, then after games 4 (when they looked bad) and game 5 (when they definitely were not going to win it in Game 6), the prices plummeted. Everybody wants what you're talking about. As usual, you wrote the way I think about something.

I honestly haven't had a team since the Braves.............I really want the city of Cleveland to win a championship, but I don't feel like they're my team...........I figured this would be a good time to put a check next to NBA Finals on my bucket list. And, my nephew is a Warriors fan, so he was all for the road trip!
