What you don't get is that that was a joke. To blame either Chicago or Buffalo for somebody acting like a dbag at best and a criminal at worst is a total joke.

I think you're right. The article is just so poorly done that the beginning has nothing to do with the rest of it.

Let me point out a few things: - Bedenko doesn't say South Buffalo. He's talking about the whole city/region. I don't even know what he's talking about in terms of how that has anything to do with Kane - Kane hasn't lived in Buffalo since he was what 12, 13 years old? Maybe he would spend a few weeks or months here, but he didn't go to school, etc. here. The years after he left are when you start to party, etc. - "And you are defending this behavior because you went to Bishop Timon? No wonder... Figures." Where did I say I'm defending this behavior?......I am not a fan AT ALL. - Again, what does Bedenko's first few paragraphs have to do with the headline and the rest of the story?

I've seen guys get their jaws broken, etc. for just not being from S. Buffalo..........Same guys would back down if it was a fair fight, or something that looked like they would lose.
