That's definitely a different angle. I never have even thought about it reflecting on Buffalo. I guess being in S. Buffalo, I think about the people involved more. If it was, say, Gronk, maybe I would have thought about it in terms of the article. I totally agree that we've become so robust lately that we would be able to shake off bad news better...........It is so great that after decades of 90% of headlines being bad news, now 90% are about good news. That second link mentions Kane's "arrogant sneer" after a goal. It has seemed to me - and I don't watch them enough to know for sure - that when he scores, the celebration is not so much about "We got a goal" but "I got a goal"

I liked before the 1988 season. All the publications were predicting the Bills to have this great breakout year. A reporter asked Fred Smerlas what he thought about all of that.
