  1. I thought the lawyer was supposed to serve the best interests of the client. Basically, he said he believes the client but not the mother of the client. If that's really true, he shouldn't have quit on the client.
  2. Another presser in 20 minutes: Scott Levin Verified account ‏@ScottLevinWGRZ 22m22 minutes ago Lawyers for #PatrickKane accuser are holding another press conference at 8;45 tonight regarding the alleged evidence bag. @WGRZ
  3. Wait. Where'd the Pope go?
  4. Sounds like you know the same people I know.
  5. It should definitely be interesting
  6. Great description of Gary! I'm pretty sure he was Tony's producer in '92 or so when Tony first got into radio. So, he's known him for a long time, and can crack on him like that. He's got such a great roster of guests like you said - Ryan, Ann, Abby Lowell, all the different experts in their field or city, like Pat Forde for college sports, Jay Bilas, Howard Fineman/Chuck Todd, etc. for politics.........And, James Carville for football picks!
  7. Very true!
  8. Thanks!
  9. Polian should have picked Leaf!
  10. When did hedge funds start making drugs?
  11. Agree 100% I like the idea upthread about those charging buffaloes on third down that they used to do. What I like best is letting the crowd do it's own thing.
  12. How did the 3 on 3 overtime experiment go?
  13. I love the show and listen to the podcast every day, for all the reasons you mentioned. The people on this board who want sports analysis 100% of the time would probably hate it. It's smart and funny (Gary being the funniest) people talking about what I want to hear about. The best "sports radio" show ever.
  14. I really liked your explanation, too.
  15. I did include you in that group, because you said "maybe they didn't think he was seriously injured.. was he?" I figured the was he? was a sarcastic remark because we knew by that time that he wasn't. But, you definitely understand what I'm saying, from this post. IMO, CBF asked his question out of curiosity, because we've all seen the way this normally goes. If it's a very long injury delay, then a gurney, then an ambulance, you then see both teams showing their concern, praying, etc. Then, the TV guys say something like "they might be competing, but when something like this happens, they show their brotherhood" or whatever. CBF didn't see that and just asked if the Pats the opposing team normally does. And, then somehow gets called a troll. (Not by you. You were just questioning me) Here's how it played out from my vantage point, behind the Pats bench. First nobody knew there was an injury. Then a few minutes goes by and you're wondering why aren't they kicking the extra point. Then, you finally see that somebody's hurt, and when it's that many people around and it's taking this long, you know it's serious. Then you hear it's Aaron Williams. More and more time goes by, and the Bills players on the field take a knee, guys on the bench and Rex come over to AW. They finally get told to get away, you can tell, so it seems super serious from our vantage point (and the Pats) The sinking feeling of an ambulance coming out the tunnel and going straight down the middle of the field happens. Your TV link shows that the Pats had no idea anybody was hurt right after the score, but by now, everybody in the stadium does. I did notice that the Pats did not join the Bills, like usual. Not one player went over to AW, etc. I looked at Belichick and he was just doing his normal pacing at midfield. I was wondering what's going through his head. How many times has he seen this in his career, etc. and now is it just the cost of doing business?............Does he have any humanity or is he only thinking about the next series?
  16. Are you a loyal little?
  17. Yeah, and there were at least 11 of them standing on the field waiting to kick an extra point. I haven't seen anybody judge them. A question was asked and two of us answered. And, a bunch of people who watched on TV are judging us.
  18. That might be the case for the first five minutes or less. After a while, everybody at the stadium (and the Patriots were) got a sense that this was serious. Then you see a gurney. When an ambulances comes straight down the middle of the field, that's kind of the clincher. I'm not really referring to the guys on the bench so much, as the guys on the field who were there to kick the extra point.
  19. You weren't there, were you?
  20. I hope they are punished. Anything to make them use that stupid thing less.
  21. They weren't 70 yards from the scene.
  22. I mean I think Sedita is full of ****, and he will not prosecute if there is a civil agreement. He'll have his out and he'll get to keep his 98% conviction rate.
  23. I'm just reading through today's posts on this thread, and don't understand this, either. I was at the game, sit behind the Pats bench, and the reason these guys didn't see cameras on Pats praying or looking the least bit concerned is because they weren't - they may have been concerned, but they were just milling about, the kicker (no way I'm trying to spell that) took about 100 practice swings, Belichick just walked back and forth like he always does around the 50. It was not the usual scene you see when somebody is in this type of situation. I'm not calling out the Patriots. I am saying it was unusual. We've all seen on how this usually looks, and that was not the case.
