Bills 30 for 30 "The Four Falls of Buffalo" to air Dec. 12

The way that director sounds and the fact that it's an NFL Films project, if I heard him right, I don't think we're going to get anything on Thurman quitting and the partying. It is going to be like a children's movie. Great point about Behind the Music. LOL -
I blamed myself - for rooting for the Dolphins for the first time in my life (we were battling Pats for first place):

Seriously. Is he coaching anywhere right now?

ESPN does have commercials. -
That was great. This struck me: Our once sweet Catholic boy refused to watch the kids participate in Christmas Eve plays because he was now an atheist. AA, NA, etc. are based on having faith in a higher power. A guy I worked with is a big time Atheist. His friend, a rock and roller, was addicted to drugs. He eventually died, and reminds me very much of Scott W. I asked my Atheist friend if his friend had the same feelings about God, and, if so, what he thought about NA, which he went to..............He said "he hated, hated, hated the god aspect" Unfortunately, for him and Scott, the God aspect is the whole thing. Over the years, I would read about Weiland's relapses and things he said, and I'd think He's not doing anything spiritually at all.

This is what I want to know so bad. It was a disgrace...............I have the feeling it won't be addressed the way the filmmaker sounded on the John Murphy show. I think about this every time I think about Thurman...........And, he had his greatest game ever the week before! -
I think it's his uncle.

They've premiered 30 for 30s the last several years after the Heisman show. I got screwed just about every time, where I didn't get the end of the film One thing I'm wondering - the film is 101 minutes, before commercials............But, my DVR slot is 90 minutes. How can that be? -

I really don't want it to be too much of a love letter. For one, I'd like Thurman to be asked why he quit when the score was 13-13. I really want an answer to that. I doubt this would get asked, but I'd also like to know how much partying had to do with the losses. As much as I love these teams, obviously, I always felt cheated by those two things. You couldn't wait a week to have the party of the century - as Super Bowl Champs?!? -
Perfect body type.............right before closing time maybe

I'm just glad that Trump is going to be the president instead of something more important - Bills owner! -
Question about being at the game in the lower bowl
bbb replied to bbb's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Thanks for backing me up. It seems that the sth know this, and the people who go once a year or whatever tell me that this has happened forever. Which is the reason for the article in yesterday's paper. I was afraid it would make people make the decision you made. I'm glad for you that now all games will be on TV - although there's nothing like being there. -
The perfect body doesn't have implants like the one on the right. She looks like she might have been perfect without them, though.

Does he? I take it back then.

Jesus Christ - get your **** together. You're ruining Bonas strength of schedule!

Question about being at the game in the lower bowl
bbb replied to bbb's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Really, because the OP asked the question about why this is happening. Not that I couldn't do it.............In fact, I'd rather be at our old seats in 108 where you stand all game, then in 110 where you get up and down 40 times, as the article mentions. (The article that it seems you didn't read) I've had season tickets for 30 straight years, and have gone to games every year since 1968. You want to ignore the article and me saying this is a recent phenomenon? As I mentioned in the OP, we used to stand all game for playoff games. That NE game you went to this year was as fired up as a playoff game. I'm talking about standing for an average game. I asked the question - and since then I thought about the answer - and it was given in the article. College hoops and football games - the student section never sits anymore. That was not the case in the past...........So, it's the norm for that generation. In my OP, I said it's not just our stadium. I see it on TV all the time now. Pretty hard to report the whole lower bowl! And, the only time I'd ever be mad about anybody standing is if they are the only ones - or if they're "that guy" - the guy who turns around and says drunkingly - Hey, get up! Stand up!! I almost got in a fight with the guy behind me last year, who was telling me to sit down - when people were standing in front of me. I said you tell them to sit down.........He was on the spot and said something to them - they told him to !@#$ off! LOL -
Got it. I like them better than all the afternoon games they are playing this year. 5 years ago, that line would have been said sarcastically. I don't think it was much more than 5 years ago that Bette Midler played here for the first time in like 30 years (I think there was a drug bust that time and she vowed not to come back), and she joked "You've done so much with the waterfront!"

Isn't a gold digger a chick who only goes out with a guy for his money? Doesn't seem to be the case here.

Question about being at the game in the lower bowl
bbb replied to bbb's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah, my entire premise is false, but now there's a front page article in the Buffalo News about it: Ralph regulars can’t stand fans who won’t sit down http://bills.buffalonews.com/2015/12/04/standing-spectators-get-a-rise-out-of-regular-bills-fans/ And, here's the letter to the editor mentioned in the story: Bills supporter can’t stand up for standing up I’m a long time fan of the Buffalo Bills. I have attended many games over the last 30 years. Recently, I have encountered a problem while attending these games. The fans in the stands find it necessary to stand for the entire game. I can see standing up and cheering for big plays and scoring plays but not constantly. When I complain to fans that are standing in front of me, I’m told that if I want to sit to stay home and sit on my couch. I love going to the games and pay good money for a seat that I can’t sit in if I want to see the game. I bring my young nephew to these games and he can’t see over the people that are constantly standing in front of him. Can something be done? I can’t stand for this too much longer. Never thought I'd see this line "And in a twist befitting this visionary city"

Why do you hate Friday night games?

Sounds like they wanted to get the last dollar they could out of him.

The following appeared in The River War, a work by Winston Churchill, when it was first published as a two-volume set in 1899: "How dreadful are the curses which Mohammedanism lays on its votaries! Besides the fanatical frenzy, which is as dangerous in a man as hydrophobia in a dog, there is this fearful fatalistic apathy. The effects are apparent in many countries, improvident habits, slovenly systems of agriculture, sluggish methods of commerce, and insecurity of property exist wherever the followers of the Prophet rule or live. A degraded sensualism deprives this life of its grace and refinement, the next of its dignity and sanctity. The fact that in Mohammedan law every woman must belong to some man as his absolute property, either as a child, a wife, or a concubine, must delay the final extinction of slavery until the faith of Islam has ceased to be a great power among men. Individual Muslims may show splendid qualities, but the influence of the religion paralyses the social development of those who follow it. No stronger retrograde force exists in the world. Far from being moribund, Mohammedanism is a militant and proselytizing faith. It has already spread throughout Central Africa, raising fearless warriors at every step; and were it not that Christianity is sheltered in the strong arms of science, the science against which it had vainly struggled, the civilization of modern Europe might fall, as fell the civilization of ancient Rome."

My ears are bleeding. "perfect storm" of Scott being tired and having a couple of drinks before the show. A few drinks - oh, that's no problem if you're an addict.
