I'm not a fan of that group of people. They seem cocky, "hey, no issues", but they ultimately are lazy. This was the only time a Hip fan would truly get to experience the communal feeling of that last show. No watching later on DVD compares......Otherwise, these 3000 or more would have stayed at home to watch. And, the comments on FB go with people genuinely pissed off that this JV effort that was billed as so much more ruined something that can not be gotten back...........And, others complain that they're all a bunch of whiners. This guy in particular annoys me. He keeps saying unlike everybody complaining, he's not self centered. And: Michael Davis That was the plan to begin with....it was a benefit event, not a commercial one. About now donating the money. Even in the face of people with tickets saying the tickets says "a portion."...........If it was a benefit event, it should be charged the same, enjoy a night of charity, etc. But, not on the night of the last concert and billed to be the community getting together. This WAS a commercial event! And, the line he's saying, being repeated on twitter, etc. goes something like you crybabies are butt hurt over a night out, how do you think Gord feels about having brain cancer.............Like that is any excuse for incompetence and !@#$ing up a major night for many people.

Then he must not be. I didn't know if it was just different in Boston than Buffalo - what the average sports fan knows. During the 60s, Red Auerbach pretty much hated Boston because he thought it was a very racist city. His Celtics were winning title after title and drawing flies. And, the Bruins were horrible and having sellouts. I had thought Lafreur was one of those territory things.

I couldn't believe that that avid Canadian fisherman who died a few weeks ago (at first they thought he might have faked his death) couldn't swim - and yet went out on his boat every day! By himself!

That is music to my ears..............I was reading the articles on line last week, and thinking man, this is such great news. And, then get to the comments and it's the usual ripping apart of somebody. I hope he's got an angle on how to make money. Otherwise, nothing will get done.............I've been really concerned about this tower. All the progression with downtown seems hollow with it's biggest building sitting empty.

Any of the real estate articles bring out a lot of comments on the News website. A number of them were calling this guy a phony, who is going to make off with govt money and got away with a fraud conviction a while back by "knowing the judge." It does seem to me that most developers end up with different charges thrown against them, probably most warranted. But, it seems that graft, etc. is all part of the game. I don't really care about that so much. But, you guys think this guy is legit? That's all I care about in this case.

I do know he's had Pats seasons since about '94, so he didn't hope on the BB bandwagon. But, do you think a sports fan in Boston should definitely know a BU hockey player. I know if it was Buffalo, we'd know all about him, like Khalil Mack. But, they have more teams.

I've seen that there are people who just post all day - claiming this racial outrage and that racial outrage. Then, they get some retweets, etc. and then the stupid media writes a story about retards on twitter and quote the retards and then the retards who counter the argument. I was thinking these uber tweeters must be getting paid. At least some of them. Haha - true! He had some good foresight!

Speaking of NBC, the friggin NIghtly News led off with this stupid story. Man, it was a bad day when news departments become part of the entertainment division. Lester Holt goes thru the whole story and at the end the max is 6 months in jail, but more than likely community service. At the beginning, he said "But, the biggest news of the day is from right here in Rio".........Then after the story, they switch to devastating wildfires.

Yeah, it was. I wonder when they decided it was a cat movie and when it was a lion movie.

I didn't watch much of the game, and heard that extra pick remark on the TV from the other room - and thanks for clearing it up..........Because I thought I was nuts - I said how is a 6th round pick like having an extra draft pick?!?
