Except for the final episode of Seinfeld, I literally have not watched an episode of scripted TV in real time since 1985 So, the fact that anybody would plan around that is kind of jarring to me.

Does anybody think the new Buffalo News website that was touted as this big upgrade is actually a huge downgrade? There seems to be way less content, it's not organized in the way it used to be - local news, sports, etc, the same stories stay up for days - and on and on.

When I went to twitter Sunday morning, the first tweet I saw was that Olympian Tyson Gay's 15 year old daughter was shot and killed.............I immediately thought she had to be killed in some gang related crossfire. I never even thought - oh, she must have been killed by the cops. And, I guarantee 99.9% of people of any color thought the same thing. And, of course, I read up on it later - and she was in between two cars firing shots at each other. I don't think it was two cop cars, either.

I was at that Kinks show in 1980. I don't remember much about it - other than it being good. And, I figured I'd see them more in the coming years, but I don't even know if the original band ever toured after that one.

In that same vein, the numbers are something like 2% are women, when they make up 51% of the population. So, are we to believe that cops are sexist and it's open season on men - or do men get into these type of encounters at a higher rate.

That never seemed to matter, though..............Seems like a lot of factors involved. I like to think people are finally getting it - that playoff baseball is the best thing ever!
