As has been said a few times on thread, we don't even know the injury, so why are we making retirement plans for him. It seems like most any player would have been on the ground like that, and his preexisting condition, may have nothing to do with it. I, for one, was glad that you can see he wasn't concussed nor paralyzed immediately. He was definitely in extreme pain, though.

Sevyn Streeter, the performing artist who claimed Wednesday that the Sixers replaced her for the national anthem because of her intent to wear a jersey with the words "We Matter," signed a contract that prohibited political statements, according to CBS3's Jan Carabeo. Per the report, Streeter was offered an alternate shirt and told she could wear her own shirt in the stands after the performance. But, she's sooooo mad...........Publicity stunt.

Thursday night games is when the NFL jumped the shark. When it's the first half of a 1PM Sunday Bills game, and they talk about what's coming up at halftime - and the main thing seems to be a preview of the upcoming Thursday night game, it makes me nauseous............Yeah, we're in the middle of this game that I care about, but you're going to talk about the Titans and Jags or some other crap teams that I don't care about, you greedy bastards.

Combine that with the oversaturation - Thursday night football is when it jumped the shark - and Mark Cuban is looking to be right about "pigs get fat, hogs get slaughtered" It seemed like there used to be some respect between the sports - the NFL not putting on night games vs. the World Series - and within the sport - Friday is for high school, Saturday is for college, Sunday is for the NFL............Now, it's screw everybody, we're going to do what we want - because we can.
