What's up with Mack's relationship with UB? I read an article that Tim Graham tweeted in maybe September or so - I never saw it in the paper. Graham kept trying to talk to Mack, and I think even went to camp - and Mack wanted nothing to do with UB anymore...............Then, during his phone conference before the Bills game, he said something like Sammy Watkins stole my city because he wanted to be drafted by the Bills and they Bills took Sammy one spot ahead. -

Buffalo had higher TV rating for SB than Boston and Atlanta

One of the most fun four day weekends of my life was when we went to DC my senior year in college. We partied hard every night, but then got up and did every historical place you could. I'm a history buff, too (Ford's Theater was my favorite - other than getting passes from Sen. Lowell Weicker's unreal hot secretary to do something in the Capital). We also went to a USFL game, and a Syracuse-Georgetown game (Pearl vs. Ewing). Could never swing that energy anymore. But, the thing is my friend who lived there who was the "tour guide" - I'm sure he's been to these places maybe 10 times since (well, not the Capital because he works there now) - when friends come into town. Just like we do with Niagara Falls. Other than NYC, there isn't "too much to do" to keep you from being a football fan in any of these places. And, whether you're eating Maine lobsters or chicken wings - you're probably spending the same amount of time on eating. -

Why did Kelly keep throwing against a 2 man line, when Thurman was dominating on the ground? Belichick is a witch. -

Off the top of my head, Buffalo is 10X the party city that that place is. That places is so overrated for partying. Closing time is 1AM. A lot of places close earlier. Once I was in a bar when a fight happened, so they closed the bar. Here nobody would blink an eye. They do have more sports teams, and historical places - how many times are you going to go to the boring Old North Church, though. Probably less times than we go to the awesome Niagara Falls. They have food and theater. We have food and theater. \ And, as has been pointed out - how many of these are you going to be doing on Sunday afternoon. (Well, not you personally - since you squeeze the whole game into 45 minutes at dinner time, but a normal person who likes to have fun and knows football isn't just about the plays, but about community, camaraderie, etc.) Meant to say they have two more sports teams. Since I had already said "after baseball season" -

Whatever you're talking about - 25 points, 31 points - none of that would have mattered if they had done the smart thing after the Jones catch, so you really have no point here..............It would have been "Well, at least the Pats made it interesting" -

It reminds me so much of XXV. I was thinking - what the hell does BB do - jedi mind tricks to make the other team do stupid things - Kelly keeps throwing, Ryan keeps throwing, the Seahawks throw at the one yard line. Ugh! I heard tonight that the Falcons ran the ball 4 times after it was 28-3. WTF?!? -

I remember getting slightly POd when a guy who happened to go to a Bills-Pats game in Foxboro with me 25 years ago or so said later that Buffalo is so into the Bills vs. Boston and the Patriots - because there are so many more things to do in Boston. Which made me wonder why he went to the game. And, also what is there in Boston - especially on a Sunday afternoon (after baseball season) that you can do in Boston that you can't do in Buffalo? -

This did work! That seemed to happen, too, I noticed. A bunch had moved.............I've done that before, but never deleted an app.................And, I've given up on rearranging - long ago - I just get used to the new world order. I thought it might have been in one of those folder type things, and looked there, but that was not the answer. -

Excellent - thanks to both of you! I'll give it a try. -
My iphone was bought in summer 2015, so whatever that is - the 6? I wake up yesterday and my podcast app has disappeared. Not sure if I hit something and those icons started wiggling and then I hit the podcast app (all on accident - I've done the first before, but never hit an icon to delete it - always caught what was going on). I'm not seeing anything easy online to fix this. How do they not have a recycle bin or something on these things? I did the first thing I saw online - which was a hard boot, wait 15 minutes, and it will be there (if things go right). They did not go right. Anybody ever have this happen and how to fix it? I really hope I didn't lose all my podcasts, either.

it was much bigger in the 50s and 60s, though. The Braves and Sabres changed that quite a bit in the 70s.....Mark Gaughan had a nice little "power take" or whatever they call it in the paper last week - about the value of going to a Big 4 game vs. a Sabres game. -

This is EXACTLY it! I was there, about 10 rows up at midcourt. You had to be there, or be watching it to know why the court got stormed. It was 80s weekend (which is why I was there), and being sold as here was 80s weekend two years ago, when we beat VCU, who were #15 or so at the time, on exactly the same scenario, and we were on espn all night, with the court storm. The place was sold out and at fever pitch. If we had won by say three had dribbled out the clock, this would never have happened. We were down 7 with 90 seconds or so left. And, this is EXACTLY right. Both coaches (Will Wade of VCU is pure class) agreed that the students 1st and the rest of the crowd 2nd is what gives the team energy, and makes a game at the RC an amazing experience. The poor ref got bumped by a student. What ah ahole he is. I've seen him ref some other games there. The cocky jerk. He made the game about him. It's only heresy, but I was told the two other refs said "the game is over" and you can see him making the call on the tape. -
I figured this with Chino coming to the Bonnies. But, he was not very good, and now has been hurt for quite awhile, and nobody knows anything about if he's coming back or not.
