And in a 1995 first round game, in Buffalo, the Bills prevailed over Marino's Dolphins 37-22. In 1998, the Dolphins recorded a playoff victory over Buffalo, 24-17, in a game played in Miami. In three of Marino's prime years, his team was eliminated by Buffalo, because his defense allowed a combined 110 points in the three losses. Marino's regular season winning percentage against all teams except Buffalo: .638. He won less frequently (.433) against the Bills.
