  1. No he isn't. Not even close. He has elite vision. He sees gaps that other backs, including Davis, miss.
  2. I don't know what he is drinking but it has sent him loopy if he thinks anyone other than James Cook is the Bills best back. There were definitely rumours that the Bills allowed his agent to explore trade options in the spring pre-draft. If there was a deal that made sense for us, another team and Cook it would have happened in that window. It didn't, and I don't think as such there is a trade that makes sense at this point. So he will play.
  3. Yea they don't have a QB. But if Dart had a Daniels esque year..... then it is possible. I don't forsee that. But if he did they will compete for the playoffs.
  4. I think some distinguish camp from offseason. Offseason = OTAs and mini camp. Training Camp = preseason. But I expect Cook to be at training camp. Whether it is day 1 or not, not sure. But he will be here.
  5. I think they did have a good draft. But I am not a huge Dart believer and ultimately QB will sink that team.
  6. The bolded is totally fair. The rankings aren't proof necessarily of the enjoyment of the journey itself. It's a pretty neat statistic for the Bills to have, but it isn't that the last 5 years have only been fun because they are 1st and 1st. It is the wins and the moments and the successes.
  7. I'm not sure he does. His body is broken. He has had a toe injury he has been dealing with for a number of years where one of his toes swells up like a balloon the day after games and he can hardly walk. He also has had the meniscus removed from one knee, has a chronic back issue and he played last season with a partially torn pec. Anyone who really follows the league (aside from the Bills) in any detail has known this was a possibility all offseason. It is not a surprise at all.
  8. He practiced yesterday
  9. And Dustin Hopkins.
  10. He was being held together by tape the past two seasons. This really isn't a big surprise.
  11. Ha - I don't think it is disproportionate. I made precisely one post on it. After that I just replied to people who wanted to tell me I'm wrong. I'm not.
  12. Walking and turning around? Needs practice? Come on Shaw. You're better than that. Total waste of time.
  13. I separate the dinners from the rehearsing walking and turning around. Which by any objective measure are a colossal waste of time
  14. I mean I don't own a car and I haven't worn a watch for years and years. Vacations and nice meals in restaurants however have a lot more worth than wedding rehearsals!
  15. You are entitled to do that. Spend your time as you wish. But you are in the minority. TV viewing numbers remain very strong. There was a very slight dip in 2024 from the record high in 2023 but well within the margin of normal variance.
  16. Good point. Although film schedules are generally slightly more flexible than the NFL calendar which is fixed.
  17. Yea I get the night before in law meal. That is logical. The rehearsal.... less so.
  18. My understanding from someone who works in the NFL's UK office is the initial push was him to the owners and there was some scepticism at first. I don't think that happens (at least not as early as it did) with AN Other commissioner. I think that is distinct from rule changes and streaming which kinda would happened a pace whoever was Commissioner.
  19. I think he will be there. They will honeymoon in the dead season between mini camp and camp I'd imagine. That said if he does miss one or two it isn't an issue in the slightest and I'd understand it.
  20. It is the definition of trivial.
  21. Completely.
  22. I have on good authority the guy the Bills were essentially using as the counterbalance to giving up the pick for Diggs was Tee Higgins. Doesn't mean they WOULD have picked him. They were still some weeks out from the draft but it tells you where their mind was at.
  23. This. He is the brain child and the driving factor behind the international games. Obviously you are right the decision to do it is the owners' decsion. But basically it was Goodell's idea and he sees it as a big part of his legacy. And it makes the owners money so they give him the green light.
  24. I have never understood, and will never understand, the concept of a wedding rehearsal. You don't have to remember your lines. You just repeat after the celebrant. What are you rehearsing? Walking?
  25. Well of course. Because they didn't win. But that doesn't mean they are not remembered with a respect for what they were. They are still teams that go down in legend. Because it isn't ever only destination. It's the climb. There are teams who won Championships... in each of those sports.... less remembered than those famous teams that didn't. That's the reality.
