  1. There is. A narrow one though. As I said yesterday to me he remains their 6th receiver but on the PS. If anyone goes down or they are short one week he is the first call.
  2. Only after he'd failed to properly secure it initially.
  3. It had already slipped through him by that point. Might he have recovered it if the DB doesn't get a hand in? Possibly. But if he catches it clean initially the DB can't knock it loose.
  4. Wasn't a perfect pass but Davidson had it and just failed to control it.
  5. Davis misses so many holes. Slow eyes.
  6. He has a DC. I think the DC might not be very good. I didn't love the McDermott DC experience but it was better than this trash. Bring back Leslie.
  7. Agree. He is making AJE look like a disciplined rusher haha.
  8. The heat will come on Babich very quickly if that continues.
  9. Third down defense stinks again.
  10. And if you get him on the move and use his mobility you can do some stuff with him.
  11. Trubisky has had a nice start. I am gonna take a lot of persuading he isn't the #2.
  12. Ty Johnson is the 2nd best back on the roster.
  13. Chase Lundt. Backup safeties. Backup LBs. They are the unclaimed roles on the team IMO.
  14. I think there are two more likely options thay unseating Vandy. 1. SVPG's spot. If he is unable to get on the field they will keep Lundt. He might not be a guard but they had tried Grable some at guard and he is clearly the 10th best OL and is a classic Kromer type. 2. They keep a 10th OL. Unseating Vandy or Vandy being traded is very much 3rd most likely route IMO. Was in one of Joe Bs write ups and he has been mentioned in a few Astro Notes. If he shows well in pre-season I think they will find it hard to stash him. And for the reason you said in respect of Vandy I doubt they want to lose Lundt for good.
  15. I think Lundt has better than an outside chance. I think he is 50/50 to make the 53. And he has had a very good camp.
  16. I think I predicted Josh, Dion and Jimbo. Top 100 is part performance and part profile.
  17. Ty didn't. I am not sure Bernard did either. Groot, Shakir and Benford, sure.
  18. They were all paid before they had to consider a hold out / in?
  19. By record, sure. But he is just a better coach than the other guys we have had in the 21st century. They did modify their scheme in the ladt post season. They ran more man coverage in KC than they ever have before in a playoff game and got shredded first half. They were much better second half when they went back to being themselves. McDermott and Babich own that mistake too before anyone says it.
  20. Of course it is McDermott's offense. Of course it is McDermott's Bills that have not got over the hump. McDermott coached, Beane built. And they haven't found a way. But that doesn't equate to "therefore they are the problem so must be fired." That is the leap folks are making that I don't think is supported. I mean it is, right? That isn't to say that without Allen McDermott would still have anything like the record he has or by this stage would still be in a job. But he is (and would still be) the Bills best head coach of the last 20 years. Now you might argue back "that isn't a high bar" and that would be fair.
  21. I have never sought to do that though. The Head Coach and General Manager between them are ultimately accountable for everything. Good and bad. But do I think either of them is the single thing holding the Bills back? No I don't and I don't think the evidence supports that. At the point where I do I will advocate firing one or both.
