  1. No my main issue is the fit in anything other than the Shanny scheme. But then as to the risk that brings yes the salary is where you get stung more than the pick if it doesn't work out.
  2. And he is a build speed guy rather than someone who is going to win quickly. For his play style that bothers me less tho.
  3. Porter is someone I haven't done at all yet. Didn't get to him in my initial run through on corners and he bounced to the top of my priority list with his testing. I think you are right on Amos and Hariston. I feel like both are early day 2. Amos is a scheme fit other than the run support point though. For sure.
  4. I am not criticising Dion. He has been all the things you say. But that doesn't mean he hasn't had issues here and there controlling his weight. Both things can be true. I said right at the top of the thread he is a stonewall WoFer for me.
  5. Dion has had legit weight issues on and off through his career and in the odd occasional stretches of questionable play (never more than 4 or 5 games but he has had them... second half of his second year, early in 2021, early in 2023) he has generally been heavier. I get it, weight control isn't easy for these massive guys but when Dion has had his struggles here and there it has generally been linked to being a bit heavier and affecting his footspeed.
  6. The difference for Stef is he stopped being able to separate vertically. A little bit of speed had gone and a little bit of suddenness. He isn't a guy who is going to be useless without that burst because his super power was always his route runnung nous and his craftiness, but I think a bit like Larry Fitz his last 5 years Stef's future now is as a slot receiver where his yards per reception are down and he works mainly underneath.
  7. Yea. I have long since said it. When he was holding out for a contract and pretending he wanted to be traded I said repeatedly he is only a stud in that scheme. He is one of the most scheme specific players in football. I do not expect this to work out. That said they have a ton of cap room and a 5th round pick is nothing. So they possibly see the risks and just think "shot worth taking."
  8. To me, yes he is. Obviously Kyle Williams first. Then Dion. I've argued before there is a case for Hyde and Poyer too... I'd put them on as a duo.
  9. Jayden definitely helped himself with his testing. He is a build speed guy rather than a twitchy guy and that lack of suddenness at the release point and at the top of the route still cause him to end up in a lot of contested situations, but the long speed is plenty good enough to be legit outside.
  10. Think he could be. His tape still has separation issues.
  11. I agree with you on speed. Hands... meh. Not awful but could be better.
  12. Yea the hip tightness is the main negative on my report for Emmanwori. I think he is a straight lines only player.
  13. He was a headache the year before. But he was still elite. He only got traded once the headache wasn't worth the hassle.
  14. Yea I still think Barron can. But I imagine the arm measurment drops him on the boards of pure zone teams. The KC - McDuffie or Denver - Harris model is now the one for him. Outside on early downs, mans up inside in nickel. So probably limits his attraction to the Bills, sadly. Oh I'd take Starks too. I know his RAS will not blow anyone away. But his film is excellent. He has fantstic eyes. He actually has some Micah Hyde about him.
  15. I disagree on Golden. I did think he looked super explosive on tape. That speed isn't a surprise to me in the way AD's was. Separately, Tez is the one that has hurt himself so far. 4.51? Eeeek. His size and that speed? Mid day 3.
  16. I have said repeatedly I think Golden is really fast. I have been kinda on my own on that hill 😅
  17. Leonard Williams. And the reality is in their front that is probably the position Ed would play. Yea not someone as good in all likelihood. I wouldn't trade him in any other circumstances.
  18. Yea. The O he was drafted into in Seattle was a downfield offense and it suited him. Russ in his prime was a great deep ball thrower. If Josh and DK got chemistry and clicked... watch out. I'm interested in the Eddie O idea too. I think he is really good. Better than the consensus. And he is better thought of by coaches and personnel guys around the league than he is on this board from what I hear. But I have always been of the view that the one scenario I'd consider parting with him in is where it is getting me a #1 WR.
  19. The blocking is fair. But as a receiver, receiving, he is a one trick pony. He can run straight line routes where his speed and size wins. The Bills happen to need EXACTLY that kind of player to open up this offense. But compared to other WR1s he is pretty undiverse.
  20. Oh yea there is a fair chance he doesn't make it to the Bills. But even if he does I'd be willing to let him go and if he succeeds somewhere else well done to that team and that staff.
  21. Yea. I see him as that kind of hybrid S/LB. Now there is no shame in that. Kyle Hamilton is a version of that and is an elite player in the league. But I don't think he is Kyle Hamilton.
  22. Correction - highest paid defensive player in NFL history at the point of signing. Mario's first 3 years in Buffalo the only guys who outsacked him were Justin Houston (then of the Chiefs) and JJ Watt. His 4th year where a) he was miscast in Rex's scheme and b) in his age 20 season I think some of the pop had gone drags his average performance across his time down. But for those 3 years the Bills had one of the most dominant rushers in the NFL on their team.
  23. This is a 100% right. He is a brilliant one trick pony. But he is a one trick pony. I am all in on the Bills trying to land him. He is 27. You might get 3 years. But he is a guy who as soon as that speed goes will be out of the league as fast as he used to run. The Eagles played very little man coverage. Comfortably less than the Bills played in the AFCCG. They played quite a lot of press bail technique. But their coverages were almost all zone.
  24. My problem with him is the thing I have the question about is the thing he didn't prove. There is a stiffness to his game. He doesn't play with the fluidity I'd want in a high end safety. Doesn't flip his hips. The testing I'd have been interested in is the agility drills. I think there is a fair chance he is gone before we pick and if he isn't I'd be content to leave alone at 30.
  25. Probably Scourton based purely on positional value. They are equal grades on my board right now.
